Nothing Joe-related at my local Ross. But, there was a rack of tri-lingual Iron Man figures.

Yesterday wasn't just the end of the year, it was the end of my Resolute 7 pack search! (There were a few reveal the shield packs and still a crap load of Green Lantern there).

Did all the spirit figures only have one painted knee-pad, or is mine a paint mistake?

The other one isn't a kneepad. He only has one.

I think that has to do with the scar and inverted thumb trademark they have. If they intentionally do stuff like that they make it very easy to detract knock offs.

And back on topic I found nothing at 3 Ross stores. Not a single Joe and the toy sections looked like they had a bad hangover. A week after Christmas and the stores still look like a mess.

I think it's actually a nod to modern military gear: a lot of guys only wear one pad, on the knee that they would drop to when firing. It cuts down on bulk and unnecessary clutter. If you look at photos of modern spec-ops dudes, they'll often have only one kneepad.

only thing i've seen recently was the rodimus/cyclonus 2-pack at a ROSS. completely missed the Resolute sets/TRU exclusive figures, other than the water moccasin repaint. Even that was kinda meh so still passed on it.

Hope that those who found the QK/Spirit got ones with good paint apps around the eyes. That seemed to be an issue with what was on store pegs.

Well I opened up my 7 packs and there was a factory error on my Zartan, he has 2 left hands! I'm not complaining mind you, but it was a little disappointing.

The other thing is that prolonged wear cuts off circulation, which is why many only wear one on their dominant knee.
