Yeah, that's cool you get another. It wouldn't be too hard to fix that one either. Just need to dermal out the peg and make a new one to glue in place out of some plastic from a model runner. Get a Gundam kit and if you pick the right one there are some times parts they mold in flesh color with the tree runner even in that color.

This may have been discussed already, but I noticed an eBay auction for a "Jurassic Park Helicopter Pilot" that appears to be the 25th Airborne mold with Scrap-Iron's vest and a head that I can't identify from the photo. I've seen the Roadblock-based face-tattoo dude and the two repainted Firefly figures with AWE Strikers, but this is the first I've heard of a planned JP helicopter/pilot. Does anybody have pictures or info about this? I'd love to see the proposed vehicle (if there was one) and what the painted figure looked like.

Quick Google search showed me this:

My god that is the most adorably deformed Joe-scale helicopter I've ever seen.

EDIT: Further digging reveals unpainted test shots of the figure:

Well I'll be damned, the helicopter pilot has the same head they used for the Marauders pack Mercer!

Helmet still hasn't been used for anything though.

Looks a little like the helmet used on the TRU Air Command Set and came with both Wild Bill http://www.yojoe.com/action/08/wildbill13.shtml and Capt Ace http://www.yojoe.com/action/08/captace2.shtml http://www.yojoe.com/action/08/images/captace2acc-1.jpg

It's similar, but it'd have to be larger than that one. It's more angular than that one too.

I don't know how I managed to search without finding that; thanks for posting it. That is definitely the Thomas the Tank Engine of helicopters; it makes the Sonic Fighters Apache look positively in-scale by comparison. The Mercer head is particularly strange, considering how long ago most of that JP/Joe stuff emerged. I like the helmet, and I hope it finds its way out at some point.

That helmet doesn't have much resemblance to the tiny Wildbill helmet at all.

It is much larger has detailed ridge stuff across the top the glass part is shaped different, as well as every other part of the helmet, and the mic is different. all new helmet. Hope we see it soon. Glad we got that head in the form of Mercer , it is a good sculpt.

I wonder if it hadn't been planned as Mercer for longer, but it just took a while for the tooling to find its niche.
Sorta like how Resolute Roadblock had to wait until Night Adder and ROC Roadblock came out before finding his own release.

That helicopter looks to be straight out of Cars and Cars 2. Probably good it never saw release, its laughable. The pilot is nothing special or gotta-have-it either.

I think the pilot's neat. If he'd come out I'd have gotten it.

Awesome.

I got two last night after seeing someone turn him into a Dreadnok.

Cool figure from the images. Has plenty of potential.

I got my two figures today.

Both had the feet pointed down like he's on tippy toes. I got three of the feet back into normal position, but one ankle joint is stiff and I can see some whitening of the peg plastic.

How does one go about getting this last joint free? Soak him in hot water to loosen it up?
