Who's that? I'm guessing HD, but I couldn't find a packaged pic of him looking like that, and nothing in the pics shows it and he doesn't look as huge as the other HD fig.

They could be re-using parts which is throwing his size off. Sort like if you stand the comic book pack Scrap Iron next to the arctic pack Scrap Iron then the comic book pack one is a bit shorter.

I'm super thrilled after seeing all the pictures.
The 7-packs, the movie toys, Snake Eyes with a long coat... another great bunch of toys to look forward too.

7-packs are amazing. Movie vehicles are mostly great. Pit is a letdown. I only like a couple of the first wave of movie figs (Shipwreck, Baroness, Storm-Shadow), but that next wave with Cover Girl is all great (except I could do without the Duke).

Great job, Hasbro!!!

Also, Firefly, Ice Viper, Scrap-Iron, Deep-Six, etc.! If all these characters make cameos in the movie, cool beans!

I have to say that the movie figures almost look like RAH style figures, but then I get a closer look and it's not to be. Add that to the fact that the basic carded figures won't be using the classic packaging style, and I don't see myself purchasing much Joe product at retail this year (Star Wars is another story). So it looks like Master Collector and eBay will be my Joe sources for much of the year.

Nope. Numerous Joe reps at Toy Fair said Paramount wasn't ready to show anything yet as far as they go...

Yes, near as I can tell, that is Heavy Duty, though I have, so far, been unable to get info as to which wave he actually belongs to.

I think he's in the wave where they realize "holy hell this looks nothing like the actor" and they reuse the accessories on a repaint of the correct version's body. i doubt that version they showed would make it to shelves. at least, i hope not.

Hasbro got a jump start by giving their showroom tour early. The rest of Toy Fair is still going on today, tomorrow, and through Tuesday or Wednesday, I believe. More info will be coming out from the other retailers as those other rooms open to the press.

That is the most awesome _____ thing I've EVER seen.

As if a torpedo on skis wasn't bad ass enough, now it shoots missiles as it skis along?

That's HARDCORE YO!

I'll take any unwanted Ski-Pedo Launchers.

This was my initial thought:

Justin,

Is there any type of master list of what fig is in what wave, or are you guestimating?

It has everything but a means to develop lift. At least it's got the little helicopter style fairing on the roof, so us costumizers know where to attach a rotor. They might as well have labelled it "rotor mast goes here."

I really do like the look of it, I'm just a little put off by its total lack any obvious way to get airbourne. Not that I've ever let the Skyhawk's aerodynamic impossibilities keep me from loving that craft, either. Probably the only vehicle from the movie line I'll try to get.
