I just got the eagle set with destro and leatherneck at toys r us tonight, both are great figures. Leatherneck has camo on his lower and upper legs btw, his rm skintone is different than his neck and head though, so glad I got this set, passed on the other

I got all my BBTS stuff last night and quality control is a little dismaying.

As already pointed out, Leatherneck's arms are a different flesh tone than. Face and neck, which wouldn't bother me so much if there wasn't so much green showing through the paint on the arms. Plus, a lot of his hair has been painted flesh colored (looks like odd growths on his head).

Low Light's face/head paint seems off as well, but the goggles cover most of the issues.

Beachhead was the biggest disappointment, though. His lower right arm was molded askew on the elbow joint and loooks awful. So if anyone is army building the Viper Officer or Trooper in that 3-pack and wants to trade. Their Beachhead, lmk.

Adding to the errors, the instructions for the vamp are terrible. They have you putting the missile rack upside down and backwards and left the cables off completely.

This 50th anniversary is getting worse every time.
I've heard of people missing stuff from the vehicles.
I guess when I finally get to TRU I will have to open then in the car to check QC.

Received my boxes from TRU and BBTS today. Haven't noticed anything missing. The paint aps on the faces are pretty good. Other paint aps leave a lot to be desired. SDCC Flint has parts painted in green with translucent flesh tones painted on so his arms and neck are a wierd greenish color. Same for Leatherneck. Stripes on the HEAT Viper are all carelessly painted with big gaps unpainted in his suit's creases. Destro's hand grenades and missiles are sloppily painted. Also my Destro has a loose hip, but I imagine a little super glue will fix that.

One of the swim fins for my Eel was stuck to the gold paint on the stand, so now the bottom of the fin has a gold triangle and the stand has a matching bare spot. Then I opened a Blowtorch heat viper pack and Blowtorch came with a Low Light stand. No biggie since he's fodder, but still disheartening that there's apparently no QC on what should be a big deal for Hasbro out at least a last hurrah.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that the Beachhead three pack cMe with no stands whatsoever.

Really disappointing effort on the actual product, especially considering how slick the packaging turned out.

I noticed that myself. Except that the missile rack is not actually upside down in the new instructions. The vintage instructions also show that the smoother part with the lines going down it faces up. But I was annoyed by them leaving the cables out of the instructions because I had to go back and open the missile rack to put them in.

I don't think the SDCC set is going to be released in stores, but who knows......and the Eel in the SDCC set has the same legs as I think Retaliation Ninja Duel Snake Eyes.

Is the Eel from Retaliation SE or the ROC Eel?

From what I've been able to get from various reports on the internet the SDCC set is only on the TRU website, not in stores. If you see it great but I wouldn't waste time running all over town looking for it.

Mysterious Stranger, I can't find any online pics that are close up and I have the SDCC set at home but I did not open it. Looking at it through the packaging I thought the Eel had Retaliation SE legs, but I have been known to misidentify things. I'm not at home to check though.
