Generally, I agree with that, but when it comes to Yellow, Orange, and sometimes Red, especially over highly detailed plastic (like a GI Joe toy) they just don't cover properly. Again, if I get matte finish, they cover better, but those three colors seem to always come in gloss only, and never fill cracks, corners or edges of fine detail properly. The Primer seems to help a lot.

Try Dick Blick. They have spray *acrylics* and they're matte too. I tried a can on bendy parts and coating and adhesion were great where other paints pooled or stayed sticky. They're expensive, but well worth it.

are they the same as the ones that Michales carries? In the big padlocked cage? They are like $12 a can, but the range of colors is AMAZING. They are advertised as "for artists" and shown being used on canvases. I tried to find info on plastic adhesion but didn't find anything, and I didn't want to waste $12 for a can that went unused.

Probably. I know Montana Gold is one of the brands. I haven't done a ton of experimenting with durability and such, and silver usually coats well anyway, but to find something that will adhere to, and stay dry on, flexible PVC is a huge endorsement. I'll definitely be doing more with them. Have some stuff that needs a matte red, and good luck finding that in enamel. . .

The PTE plastics are especially tricky with the camo splotches already on them. Doing any of the harder colors I pre-wash with soapy water, prime, and then spray with Fusion. Doing yellow you have to plan for 3-4 light coats even with primer.

I'd paint the front seat cushions black just to differentiate them from the body of the vehicle but otherwise that looks SHARP!

Thundercats are on the loose! They have the 2nd(?) wave. $3 Cheetara, Panthro, Tygra, Wilykit, Wilycat, and of course Lino-O and Mumm-Ra. They also have the Thundertank.
$3 figures! it' s like 1988 prices!

I just completed my TC collection with BL, I got Both Pantro's Brown glove and steel gloved versions and Wily Kit & Kat.

Just a FYI, Ollie's has the Tower playset and vehicle/figure sets.

Well, apparently there are no Big Lots in a 100 mile area that carry the 8 Wheelers.

*shakes fist at the sky*

Wow, that's a heck of a display!

I mentioned this on another thread, but I saw this PTE World Peacekeepers set today at Big Lots called "Battlefield". Half a dozen figures, couple of small figures, and this ready-made diorama set that was basically a two-story shot-up semi-ruined-looking building like something out of the middle east. Very nicely detailed. The entire set had a $34 price tag on it.
