I have a feeling these are going to be tough waves to find. Still have never seen a Storm Shadow. Saw a couple of Ripcord, Scarlett and one a piece of Techno Viper and the Renegades Trooper at the Altoona TRU, where I saw this wave previously. Everywhere else is pretty much SE, CC, FF and Duke.

Ripcord is the only one left at my Walmart.
Also some idiot stocker removed 3 of the 4 pegs. On those they put the Playmakers figures! Well I just put all those where they were supposed to go. Then I distributed the Joes to each peg. They only have a handful of Joes left. I hope my efforts result in wave 4 being stocked.
The other side of the aisle isn't much better. They have overflowing pegs of DCUC, IM2, Thor, & 6 inch Cap figures!
I did get a Devin Hester figure. :-D

I think Storm Shadow is going to be the most sought after 30th figure. I found wave 3 twice, but Stormy only once, and now the stores have moved on to wave 4. Since he's the only figure from 3 not carried forward to 4, and he's a great figure of a major character, I think he's going to be hard to get. The rest are already being discounted. I do hope that Target stocks enough of 3 that I can get another Storm Shadow or two, since TRU and Wal Mart seem to have moved past it or skipped it entirely, but I'd rather see 4 for the most part.

Another brilliant move by Hasbro.... I mean really, what are they thinking with this one? "He's the best figure of the wave, so let's make sure he's the only one not available with the next wave." Bravo, sales/marketing team, bravo!

And yet if this figure had sucked and was carried forward people would be complaining about him taking a slot that could have been used for another character. Just goes to show you that no matter what Hasbro does they won't make fans happy.

Personally I don't see the big deal about this figure. It is an interesting take on Storm Shadow and does have that Renegades look and feel but it just doesn't seem to me to be the ultimate ninja figure. But that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.

Given the clamoring for army builders that most fans seem to have, it made sense to me for them to have 2 Zombie Vipers in the wave 4 case. Unfortunately that just means that someone else had to be left out. Of course had they left out another character I'm sure people would be complaining about that and how there were a glut of Storm Shadows but none of that other figure.

It's far too early to tell how hard any 30th figure will be to find anyway. We still have a few months left for product to make it's way out. In terms of availability in assortments, Storm Shadow is the least common, but he may still make it out in large enough numbers to satisfy demand. I do think they probably could have used him in the wave 4 cases instead of Renegades Ripcord without too much grousing from collectors.

All I know is I'm kinda bitter because I've just missed getting Zombie Vipers 4 times now.

I don't really care about the Techno Vipers or the other resolute characters not named Storm Shadow, but the other updated versions I'd love to find on store shelves and not pay about $11 apiece for them off the internet.

I'm always stunned when I see Walmart shelves stocked like that. None of the four Walmarts in or near Portland have ever stocked that many GI Joes.

Makes me wanna transfer the pic onto my phone and then go to the local store, then ask them why they don't have any on the shelves.
