I just got off the phone and they are giving me a refund, they said it may take up to 2 billing cycles, WTF, now i gotta wait longer, it's a shame.

They keep saying that to me and I didn't even pay with a credit card

I did use a CC on my last two orders and will try to get the refund on one of those

EDIT: My first order from the 3rd has finally been shipped. Can't wait to get that magnet. I hear it is big and gets shipped separately :shifty:

This something that always pissing me off. If you owe a company a dime they will start sending you late notices, extra fees and threaten to send you to collections. Yet when they owe you money they never return it in timely manner nor do you get to tack on late fees.

So I finally got scewed over by HTS. My order for Airborne, Pilot Scarlet and Eel were placed months ago along with some other figs. The other figs arrived with a notice that the remaining three would go out on 12/3.
12/1 I get an email from HTS saying they had some questions abut my order and to call them in three days.

Last time this happened I called, waited on the phone for 15 minutes and was finally told that they had no idea why I got that email and everything was fine.

Well, I was busy and with my last experience with that email, I didn't bother to call. Sure enough the order was cancelled three days later.

Really a douche move on HTS part. Especially since the email was vague about everything... except of course that they'd cancel the order in 3 days. What if I had been on vacation? Or.. without internet access for a couple of days?

Lame HTS.. LAME.

They don't seem to know what's going on. Once they received my return, I was told I would get my PayPal refund in 5 days. Several times after they said it would take "two billing cycles" to appear (as if I had paid with a CC). Most recently another person said there was no record they ever received the order I returned, which was why I hadn't received the refund yet

Make sure you write down the name of the person helping you and ask for a refence number for the call you had.

Looks like I'll probably be getting a check since they've had trouble with their PayPal transactions.

The funny thing is, every invoice I've received with my orders has said that the order was charged to PayPal, eventhough I used a credit card. The one time I used PayPal, it didn't say what method was used to pay for it :-| :-/

I got my first order from them since this mess. With the way people were talking about the free magnet arriving separately in it's own box, I was expecting an industrial sized magnet, not a normal one. Still looks pretty cool on a black refrigerator

They restocked wave 11 Zartan yesterday, the day after frsh01 and holiday25 codes expire. I suspect they deliberaltely held back certain popular items, knowing they'd sell at full price anwyay. Shipping on a single Joe was $7! I ordered Buzzer from Toys R Us a couple weeks ago and paid $4 shipping.

So I added the Star Wars Darth Talon/Cade Skywalker set to the order, which didn't inrcease shipping whatsoever. I got 10% off via smile08(a whopping $2 off).

Sadly, I have 1 nearby place to buy toys and right now, everything is getting picked clean before I can get to it, leaving me no real choice. Not that most Joes even last during slow months. Best I can usually spot are comic packs, which almost no one seems to buy. You'd think Tomax/Xamot would be as popular as the single card stuff, but even that seems to be in full supply anywhere I go.

Hmm, the electric company here had to update their customer agreement, a few years ago one of their meters fouled and charged a guy like 1000 dollars or something, instead of the normal 150, well he was auto draft.

He requested an audit, they admitted it was wrong and wanted to credit his account. He wanted the money. They told him they were the power company and their policy was to credit. He told them he was an attorney and his policy was to follow the law.

Long story short, this guy somehow gets his money, some kind of penalty, judgement, something, and a written apology from the administrator.

What did we get? A change to our agreement, now we have an "arbitrary" thing on their, which is weird, apparently their legal department fouled again, it had an opt out method during the first 30 days, lol. How did I know? Same lawyer wrote a letter to the local paper.

This guy is kind of a folk hero, he once got the emergency room to treat him for free since he didn't see a doctor, only a nurse, and cleverly spotted a forged dr's signature, lol. A smart lawyer, what will they come up with next? A caring doctor? LOL

But on topic, I took pictures of my EEL, should I even bother with calling up HTS?

Well after my years of ordering from HTS, I finally got a screwed up order. Ordered 1 Sting Raider & 1 Ghost Hawk and they came 3 days early. But the mail carrier doesn't leave it and I have to go get my package from the post office. Get home, open it up and instead of getting my free magnet like it says on my invoice, I get a second Sting Raider and 2 different coupons for $5 off my next order.

So you got 2 Sting Raiders AND a Ghost Hawk instead of the magnet? Dude, I'd call that a win

Got an order in today. BH & MF Comic Pack.

Yes it was in a box too small for the actual toy. Top of the package is bent. I guess the comic is bent too now. Lucky for them I take like my toys out the the package. Some like them in good condition. I could complain and ask for a replacement but is this comic sold out already? If HTS sells out of product you're out of luck. Oh yeah it came with a $5 coupon. Like they were apologizing in advanced.

Has anyone thought of reporting them to the better business bureau?

I got a $5 coupon too. That won't even cover the shipping cost for a single figure! :-/ :-|
