These are out. Found the two packs tonight at my Walmart. They are $9.84. The Rock head sculpt looks pretty good but they need to fix his eyes - it looks like the gorilla is goosing him.

Some quick notes on the Canister Contact sets, now that I've opened them:

- George is a statue - no articulation. Lizzie has an articulated upper jaw. Ralph has a jaw and leg articulation.
- For me, the coolest accessory comes with Ralph - the missile launcher
- The Rock likeness is dead-on, would be great if I can find the right body to do a Jumanji custom. But, the body is trash. I thought Pluv was being harsh, but the figure body looks even worse in person. And, on mine, every joint is loose.
- All the guns have orange barrel tips. Seriously? Has the law about toy guns got that bad, or did Lanard just get carried away?

All in all, they're pretty cool for a $10 toy. Will be interested in seeing the larger sets.

Also, my Walmart had an army of Kongs on clearance. If they dropped low enough, would be awesome to have a room full of gorillas.

Re: Loose joints....do the legs fall off the body with light movement.

Either way I'll probably buy a set if I see it in the wild but I am curious if the loose joint issue is severe.

I def need the missile launcher!
Always loved that item and the 4 Barrel cannons that used to come with the older sets.

Limbs don't fall off, but the figure "dances" if you shake him. Screw in the back, so you can likely try to fix, but the figure really isn't worth it. Very much like a bad VvsV body design. But, the head is worth reusing.

Went last night to my closet Wal-Mart and all they had were the "regular-size" animal sets. But they had a TON of the large Kong figures...makes me worried they won't carry the larger sets just due to self-space.

The new "The Corps!" Figures Lanard promised us in 2017 have finally hit retail. I saw 4 brand new 3pks today. 2 of the 3 pks have 2 all new figures in them while the remaining 2 only have 1 new figure apiece.

I saw the new "Rampage: The Movie" line (all save for Mega-George) today at Wal-Mart!

The creatures are AWESOME! The figures and accessories, aside from the quad missile launcher, not so much.

Sadly, I have no fun money right now so all I could do was admire them in the store :(

I have never been excited about Corps figures until the two girls came out last year. Now these new sculpts look exciting too. I have always liked some of the vehicles for potential but even in the O-ring era very few of the figures were flawless. There were a few that I liked the head sculpts (Lars Laser, Justin Case, some of the civilians) but most of those had blocky undefined torsos and plain legs.

OK so went and found all of the figures. They are great, probably the best set of figures Corps has EVER made. What I do not understand is why they waste plastic on the two figures that have zero articulation. Seems like that they could use some of that plastic for more weapons or something.

They did have big George and medium George. I would have liked to have the Rock figure but Can not justify $20 for a giant monkey that I do not know what I would do with. Also did not want to spend $15 on a big monkey and a funky little helicopter. I doubt that I will buy little George if I see it. The size would work for something I guess but I do not think it is articulated. Now Lizzie does look interesting to get for Croc Master.

My wife picked up 2 of the "Rampage: The Movie" Canister Contact sets for me tonight while grocery shopping.

I put up review for them.

Found the sets I haven't seen yet today, but didn't buy them. Do toy manufacturer's not know how to paint eyes anymore? It just seems like the last few year, I see more and more toys with eyes totally out of alignment. The one mid-size George I found literally had his eye painted on his eyebrow. Have to say I didn't plan on buying the larger Lizzie, but that figure is really growing on me, and I can see myself eventually breaking down and getting it.

Also found the new Corps figures. Bought the one set with the two figures with skulls painted on the masks (I ignored the names). Decent figures, I can see myself picking up a few of the other sets.

Opened the packs. While the construction is hands down better then the figures they have had the last few years, I do not know that I am sold on the plastic hip bar and the wide crotch. The sculpts are definitely the best they have ever had. Now if they would just do a little more detail painting with all of that awesome sculpt details they have.
