Does it look like the heads might be interchangeable on the SDCC Hellboy and the boxed set Hellboy? I'd prefer the cigar head on that body and it could be a nice LBC...

They are ball jointed, so it's possible. I haven't tried pulling one off yet, myself. I am waiting for the singles so I can get some extras to take apart. I also prefer the SDCC head, so as soon as I have some extras I will also be trying this, and swapping "Right Hands of Doom" around too.

I got my figures in the mail yesterday, and wow was I blown away!

Mine have no paint issues at all, and the only slight deformation is in Liz's right leg, but it is very minor, and can probably be fixed with hot water. Wink is definitely a much more awesome figure than I expected him to be.

The articulation is outstanding! Not only do they have good articulation, but it doesn't funk up the sculpt either.

Overall I would say that they are, without a doubt, some of the best 3 3/4" figures to come out this year. Detailed paint, great articulation, good accessories, and a price point to beat just about everything else. My first ones came out to only around $5.77 per figure (shipped).

They look fantastic! I hope I'm able to find some.

I love your Blade Runner custom Gaigaan! Is that an LC Indy torso? Where did you get the coat?

I'm pretty sure that coat is from Commish Gordon from the 3 pk. of Dc Infinite heroes.

Yeah, it's a LC Indy torso, rocket launcher Indy legs and head, Col. Dovchenko arms, and the coat is from the DC Universe James Gordon figure.

Now that I've seen these Hellboy figures in person, I have tons of ideas for customs, and I really hope they make the second set of figures. We need an Abe to go with the rest of the team!

BBTS currently has 23 sets in stock for only $21.99 per set (only about $5.50 per figure) + shipping.

http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=MEZ10291&mode=retail

My shipping was $10.25 for 2 boxed sets, so that still only came out to about $6.78 per figure, shipped, from BBTS.

(cue sad violin)

My wife was suddenly out of work for over a month and while she just started back to work, I couldn't possibly afford these right now.

Thanks though.

I added the item to my cart, then tried to change my cart quantity to 1,000. It will only let your cart quantity go as high as their current stock.

It even says "One or more products have been adjusted due to current inventory levels".

As of now they still have 20 sets left. ;-)

Edit: make that 19, now.

Too bad Liz is so tiny compared to the rest. Granted she's in scale with HB and the others but I was hoping she'd be taller so I could use her for 25th fodder. Glad I just got one set now.
