Has anyone heard from Red Laser recently? I haven't seen him since before his photo contest ended.

I'm in contact with him a lot. He is super busy with tons of plans, especially gearing up for the JoeCon.

That's what I figured. I just want to know the results of the photo contest!

I thought things like factory level customs and castings of Hasbro molds weren't allowed at the con.

I'm not sure about this, but Hasbro no longer has these molds.

I doubt this will be an issue for several reasons.

1. I don't think Hasbro cares. I was at the 2009 Canadian JoeCon when a dealer put out some of the factory-made o-ring figures and a carded RoC figure before they were released at retail. A Hasbro rep saw it and went crazy about the RoC figure and took it. Didn't care at all about the o-ring figure. Since then, Red Laser and Black Major have been cranking them out and again, Hasbro said nothing.

2. Hasbro won't be at the show to care. So I heard anyway.

3. The club has never put out a policy about these kinds of items that I'm aware of. Vendors have been there before selling reproduction accessories and they were fine.

If you're not on Red Laser's Facebook page, you really should make the effort. He's showcased his plans for JoeCon, and -- well, just about any fan of the original O-Ring Real American Hero should be massively impressed by what he's going to be offering. Just incredible!

These were a special order from another seller. Red Laser made them, someone else is selling them exclusively. But they are awesome. I bought 5!

They look kinda like Copperhead BATS.

Not sure why some fans are stuck on the Chameleon/Swampfire being the Dreadnok colors. What about the Thunder Machine's colors and the Air Assault set.

The Dreadnok Ground Assault set had the black/teal/green, too. Of course, then there's the con set purple and teal. I think people stray from the red and blue since it's so similar to Cobra.

Sorry everyone! I am here, I've just been super busy. Trying to co-ordinate 20 new figures has been a nightmare But it's all happening, even through the hiccups and set-backs. I'm working on other Red-Lasery things right now as well. Not figures, [NOT VEHICLES either - I don't want to start that rumor], but other things related / expected alongside figures.
