Renegades vehicles. That coyote is awesome. The fact we've seen vamp after vamp and awe after awe but haven't gottem Flint's jeep is a shame.

Kwinn. No figure in the upcoming line is justified over Kwinn. I'm not sure how any kind of a Cobra Trooper is more important than Kwinn. I'd gladly trade the CG and Night Viper for Kwinn.

Has the club tried to get the Kwinn figure out yet? Seems like its one of those "too popular for the club to do" type of things but Hasbro hasn't given it any interest to putting it out yet.

One head swap away from a possible Tracker figure at the least...

I'd want the vest in green too, but yeah. That figure is more Outback than Shipwreck.

Exactly.

Changing gears, I thought the Night Vipers were coming in one of the Retaliation waves.
I know Hasbro likes to sell Army Builders, but I really think the Joe Troopers/Green Shirts/Steel Brigade type figures defeat the concept of the Joes being America's special mission force. What would be cool is if they'd come out with Regular Armed Forces Soldiers. They've done it in the 12in line.

I really like that steel wolf and the coyote. There are a lot of great figures. Don't care about the zombies or kwinn, animated style renegades, passing interest in the ninja set. Bring on the poc/30th style though.

That's one of the problems I address in my joeverse. The Steel Brigade is a UN sanctioned military op. They are trained by joes, but don't have what it takes to be joes. Yet they are still elite and extremely badass. Just no Joe worthy. They work with the team on various Ops usually as a team or assisting the joes on larger operations.

So what you're saying is...You see the Steel Brigade like a UN version of a Tier 1 supporting element, akin to the 75th Ranger battalion being attached to JSOC for the benefit of CAG/DEVGRU.
;)

They are, now scheduled for wave 3 (they were originally going to be in wave 5 prior to the movie delay).

I agree. I was ok with the Sunbow generic trooper and frogmen (Senior Ranking Officers Torpedo), the Pit Commando was well done, and I like the Steel Brigade. I like most of the Joe army builders shown in the case, but I would likely use them as individual named characters rather than troopers if they were to see release. I don't even use the Retaliation Joe Trooper as a trooper, he's a unique character for me (made easier by having a distinct head sculplt).

Exactly!

#1 in this discussion should always be Kwinn. Any time customizers have the chance for a guy in shorts or a suit, we need to take it.

The Steel Brigade to me, and this is probably from how they did the mail away for it back in the day, were the people who ended up working with GI Joe on specific missions. They get called in to duty because of their expertise in a subject or for a temporary need. They aren't on the Joe roster, but can be counted on when they are needed the most. Dr. Burkhart from issue #1, Joe Colton, Mike Powers, etc. People who are part of the mythos but don't fit on the team. Also that Cool Kid character I made up when I was 6. Not a Joe, a Steel Brigade. The SB uniform gives them anonymity to protect their private lives but still be helpful. They are the good guy version of the Crimson Guard.

Kwinn for sure would hands down be the number 1 item on the list of must do!

Second I would say is the improved (more accurate) televiper. Then the accurate heat viper.

I'm not big on the Tele-Viper. Neither the vest nor the belt make a good fit on the torso, because they're just reused from the original Tele-Viper figure.
