The prototype version is pictured on the back of the box for the Tumbler. I think some people have actually found it too, but I've only seen the black version.

The Bruce Wayne I saw in the 2 pack, looks better than the one that comes with car. Headsculpts look a little different and the 2 pack has the legs spread out a little more. I may get the Bruce 2-pack for a Hitman custom, if I can figure out how to articulate the arms.

Anyone got pics of these two-packs? This is the first I've heard of them.

I saw these today, had the Bats/Joker in my hand but I had to buy some toilet paper, and money's tight, so it was TP or toys. :shifty:

I went with the TP, I figure they'll be there for awhile so I'm not too worried. They only had the Bats/Joker, Bats/Bruce and Bats/Scarecrow packs, not thug ones. The pegs were completely filled, so either the thug pack it one per case and someone swiped them all, or they're not out yet.

Saw the 4" 2-packs for the first time tonight at Target and picked up Bats & The Joker-- the sculpt on Batman is good, but the articulation sucks, so I'm gonna bash it with some Microman or SHS parts. Should be easy enough (famous last words) and look decent. It won't be 100% on-model, but should be a nice blend of the old and new Batsuits.

Also saw the Tumbler (both versions), and will probably pick it up when I've got the cash.

I started bashing the first Batman I got with Joe and SHS parts. It's tough, especially with keeping the height the same.

Here are some packaged and loose pics of the figures:

I got the Bats/Bruce two pack... The Bruce is tiny. I was hoping to be able to make a Tony Stark custom with him but he's way too small.

I picked up the Bats/Bruce and Bats/Joker packs today. Was going to get Bats/Scarecrow pack, but the Scarecrow's head is just way too small. He makes helmet Cobra Commander look hydroencephalitic.
The arms and legs of these guys are way too rubbery. They're like Bend-ems without the wire in them. I think they'll be good for bashing onto 25th, SHS or Microman bodys, but the figures as-is leave a lot to be desired.
And what's with Joker's turkey neck?

I'd say buy the figs and wipe with the cardback but I've learned to appreciate the fluffy stuff so I understand where you're coming from.

What's the price on that Tumbler? And is it JUST the vehicle or does it transform into a base or have some whacky action feature? I'd really love to have one if it doesn't have any obnoxious crap like that.

The Tumbler is a reasonable $10 and has no action features; only an opening cockpit. There is another Tumbler coming out that is a little larger (maybe a more accurate scale) but has a launching Batpod inside with a Batman attached. From the pics I saw, it looked like the Batman was 5", so that throws that out unless the Batman can be removed and the Batpod is do-able, scale-wise with the smaller figures.

About that Joker neck- I'm sure this whole line consists of shrunken 5" figures. It looks like that just shrunk the swivel neck Joker head and tooled it and the body for the ball joint. Heck, the 5" one could be the same for all I know. I just know it could have been done better. Having him in hand now and giving him a closer inspection, I notice he seems to have clown shoes on too :(

The Bat Tumbler doesn't do the splits?

(guess that's Robin's job)

I bought the sports car, and gave it to comic pack Firefly. Makes it worth every penny...

Picked up the Bats/Joker pack. Not too dissatisfied. I'm going to grab another tomorrow to play around with fodder-wise. Joker does look like he has a double-chin though. Does the Bruce head have a ball-joint or is it pegged like the Joker?

Joker's is actually an off-center ball joint. Bruce's seems to be swivel.
