Glazed timbits get sticky if you hold them too long... :shifty:
Now that, Dream, is an example of homoerotic! ;)

just FYI, a clarifying letter from Alyosha:

I've seen several places on the web where people are questioning the price of the class, and not understanding how this years format will differ greatly from the class the previous year. I'd like to clarify a couple of things in the hopes that it will let you better understand the costs associated with it.

First of all, this class will be "hands on" for everyone who participates. For paying to attend the class, you will receive two cast "blank" heads and a backpack. After a very brief introduction, we'll be jumping right in learning how to sculpt add-ons to these base parts. We'll be using Apoxie sculpt as a medium. You will also receive a pair of professional sculpting tools that are yours to use and keep for each individual. I'm going to see about getting some small cannisters so that each participant can take home some of the leftover Apoxie as well, but if you have a pair of film cannisters, bring those to be certain.

At the end of day one (a four hour class), all the parts will be set out to cure overnight to lead into day two. The necessity of allowing time for this epoxy to cure is why the class is broken in two days.

Day two will get off to a very fast start (also a four hour class), in that we will immediately begin prepping two of the three parts you worked on the day before (any combination of 2 out of 3) and setting them up in mold boxes. You will be shown step-by-step how to set up your own mold boxes so that you can try it at home if you like.

After the mold boxes are set up, we will be mixing and pouring silicone in those boxes and will be putting them under heat and pressure to cure. While they are curing, there will be a Q&A session covering pretty much anything related to the moldmaking/casting process. During the last 45 minutes of the class, I'll show you the demolding process for the parts you just made molds for, and you will leave the 2nd day with the parts you've modified and the molds you made for them.

So, out of the class your getting:

2X resin heads
1 resin backpack
sculpting lesson
sculpting tools
moldmaking lesson
Q&A session
molds of 2 modded parts of your choice
