More photos, now with the console put together. Ok, I didn't quite get the console to look it's best. I was attempting something and it didn't quite work out. But like I was saying, this one is the first and I'm just trying out some things to see what will look best for the full "production version". I'll be actually customizing this one as my own personal version. The seats obviously isn't exactly like the original and the gaps I'll be filling in with putty. I'll probably be painting up some things and adding various other ideas to it too, but for now it's helping me figure out what I gotta do. I pretty much know now too. It's just no point in taking this one back apart since it'll be obvious on the next one.
So on with the pictures:
This image you can see a few mess ups that happened from trying some stuff out. The main reason why this one if the first one. Pretty much it's the one I'll kick around if I have an idea. Actually I've even dropped it, hehe, but it's held up fine from even that. But what you are seeing in the inside of the elevator, showing how I did even keep detail down inside.

Here's the over all shot of the base.

This gives you a shot of the console. Note the experimental seats. I'm going to try some other ideas with them too. I want the seats to be niser than the original and look like something you's want to sit in.

Just another angle of the console.

Here you can see how I've even recreated the screws. Or rather matched them as close as possible. This is the one that holds the rocket. I actually put the rocket on the outter part of the "launch section" rather than the inner part like the original. I just like the looks of it there better.

Another shot of the seats. The figure's don't sit perfectly in the seats so I'll be do some alterations. This is just something I was trying out.
