This isn't really a "defect," but in a completely unsurprising development, now this is happening:

The "custom" Grunt was an interesting choice. Seeing corpse-skin Gung-Ho on the shelves again was very unwelcome.

Wonder why the swapper didn't go all-in and swap the Viper as well, it ain't that bad of a figure.

Probably one of those "NO HAS TO BE VINTAGE OR ME NO BUY" types, but the fact that he swapped in what's still the vintageiest Gung-Ho out there in there casts a bit of doubt on that... Hm.

Yeah, really, the Viper is probably the most interesting figure in that set. But I can't say as I feel like trying to figure out the mentality of a THIEF to begin with. :-/

It's amazing to me this hasn't been cracked down upon, especially by TRU, I can see Target staff not realizing, but when toys are your business, just have employees check returns against images on TRU online. I mean these are TRU exclusives for pete's sake.

Ah the wonders and horrors of figure swappers.

Finally got to see some of these exclusives in the flesh. The paint work on the samples I saw looked ok, better than most the ones I've seen online. While not as huge of an issue as the lack of quality control, I noticed that the packaging on these sets (especially the 3 packs) feels extremely thin and cheap.
Didn't buy any, instead went down to the local collectors shop and found a mint v1 interrogator that I've been searching forever for.

Seems to be all figure complaints. How are the vehicles beside wrongly applied decals? Are they of the thinner plastic as well?

I never put together the SDCC set yet, so the only vehicles I've put together so far are the arctic ones, and I thought they seemed really sturdy. I couldn't tell much of a difference between that Ghost Hawk and the 25th one when handling it.

The vehicles seem to be good quality, but they are prone to have missing parts. This is likely assisted by the fact that they aren't taping the parts bags closed. I did have one Skyhawk with a bent tail, probably caused by the packaging. And the pre-applied stickers were upside down.

Picked up a battle below zero today (the only wave 1 item I was interested in)
Had the same probl with upside down stickers on my skyhawk.

Ice viper itself had a large I painted spot on his neck and looks like 3 paint peel/chip spots on his lower legs.

I also noticed the bags were not taped "LASER BLAST" which helps in the QC arena.

I don't know if anyone has pointed this out yet, but all of the Night-Vipers I've seen have turned red... ;)

My Low Light and Night Viper had no issues

Both the Flint and EEL in the Danger at the docks set were incredibly loose right out of the package. I am debating buying another set because of how good that urban camo looks in person.

My one Night Viper's peg hole on his back is partially open. Need to drill it out to fit the backpack. No other problems with them.

My Leatherneck actually has a full head of hair! But has the typical other problems.

So I finally got all the 50th stuff so far and I've had a couple of the same issues that have been listed.

The rifle of my Leatherneck has a funky carry handle, like not quite enough of the plastic was poured into the mold, so the carry handle didn't get fully formed and there is a bit of a gap.

Destro's legs are a bit wonky

The front skis on the Arctic Wolf weird Cobra snow machine thing don't seem to want to attach.

Question, does the Low light come with a back pack? I haven't removed him from the package yet, but there's no back pack visible on the blister.

Besides the thin paint on the forearms and some eyes that make him look like he's glancing off to the side, I'm pleased with Flint. I think his colour scheme is almost dark enough to make him part of my Night Force team.

Interesting that Snake Eye's face is painted under the visor, like the PoC version.
