You might be the first person I've heard who's said that...

New 2-pack pics.

Night-Viper got his color scheme reversed. I guess he is Crimson Night-Viper?

...and Blowtorch is still yellow... Wasted opportunity to give us the tan and green version. Oh well, I'm still buying.

Only thing I'm not digging about that Night Viper color scheme is the orange Cobra sigil. That just seems out of place. Black would have been more appropriate. But I can cover it up with a vest or something.

My intentions for the Low-Light vs Night Viper set, the backyard brawl for the missing magic bullet.

And now I can't really say it anymore, after seeing how they changed it.

Now it looks like Cobra sent its snipers to the Bazooka school of "just shoot me" fashion.

That's the school of fashion Cobra had already sent its bazooka troopers to as well. So at least they are being consistent. Now there's no way GI JOE will let either poor fool get off a second shot.

I think you're being generous. Unless the Joes have The Blind Master on lookout, they'd spot either one of those troops more than a mile away.

just got the two three packs for now, really hoping for the tan Vamp to be readily available.

I wonder why Low Light and Blowtorch aren't repainted at all? I passed on those sets since I do not need any more of either of the joes. here's hoping another cobra 7 pack comes along....

Low Light I understand, he was hard to find and has a ton of small accessories. I can live with him being unchanged and lock him away so I never lose anything. But Blowtorch is such a head scratcher. It makes me sad. I don't even know what to do with him.

As far as the reversed NV colors, I think the original setup with red highlights and black base was maybe the better figure and made more sense, but with the red base and black highlights, I think it gives more possibilities for customizing. I can see a new type of Crimson Guard or even a new type of Red Ninja that is more of a Ninja Commando made out of those. Or just a red Cobra Trooper.

Does anyone know if the modern VAMP body will fit on a vintage chassis? I like that blue camo, and I could live with the wider base of the remolded VAMP, but it'd be pretty sweet if I could snap it onto an '84 Stinger chassis.

So are these NV's orange or red? They look different in different photos.

I need just three of the six figures in the trio packs. Probably just get the Eagles Edge set for Metzger and McCullen.

I want a Cobra Wolf but not a Skyhawk so I have to pass on it. Had no idea till these listings they were being bundled together in a set like this, lame.
