I'd get Bane, for the usual reasons... :D

They certainly appear to have non-swivel biceps (and a truly hideous job of handling the joint that is there: check out the standard Batman's elbows). I think they have the Avatar/DCUC-style hip joints, with the swivel joint that has an additional point of articulation built into the hip to allow it to swing upward. You can really see it on the Deadshot figure.

These are just brutal to look at. I don't know if it's the glossy finish, the soft-looking sculpts, the crap articulation, or just the fact that this is the latest in a never-ending string of abject failures to give us decent DC figures in 1:18 scale, but these gross me out. I like Mr. Freeze's space-helmet, but the rest of him would go straight in the trash and I'd have to deal with the shame of having bought one of these little affronts to our eyes.

...why? What is the point of these? Say what you will about the other DC figures being fragile and small but at least they are adequately articulated and look appealing.

I'm sorry to you MU fans, but I'm hoping they are DCIH-scale. If only so I can add Mr. Freeze to my DCIH collection. And maybe Bane, even though he's Diaper Crotching something fierce.

Looking at these guys, they appear to use the hip joint Mattel innovated with the Avatar toyline (T-crotch with a hinge joint a bit lower for outward movement) and a swivel just above the knee. So they're going to have a decent range of leg movement.
Shame Shame Deadshot looks so odd. Why is he so bulky, isn't Floyd Lawton typically portrayed as a lean dude?
It really would've been nice to have a decent Deadshot after the depressing lameness that was the DCIH version.

They put a swivel articulation above the knee, but not on the elbow?
For cost purposes I might understand why we can't get both, but to put it on the legs?!
That's just plain dumb.

Yep. And the way Batman's elbow joint is set up looks really bad. I'm hoping the others don't look as bad.

Hopefully they are in a second wave of movie figures, that will include the Joker and Zodd's cronies. Or even a Gene Hackman Lex Luther would be cool.

Also hope that this may be the reason those two were shown with less articulation, because they are in a later wave, and weren't as far along in development when shown.

Either way, I'm still super geeked about the Keaton Bats. I have been looking at the pictures of the figure pretty much every day, so I was happy to place a pre-order for the figures. Even if I have to wait til April.

I honestly can't remember the last time I was this excited about a Mattel product.

Pre ordered 1989 Batman.
This is a cool looking figure and I'm glad to finally be able to get a 1989 movie Batman in scale with my Joes.

I'm planning on preordering all the movie figs except Penguin.

And possibly Mr. Freeze and Bane from the Arkham Origins line.

My Target had these out today, picked up all 4. They didnt ring up, so the worker let me take the 4 and pulled the rest of the figures. Since Amazon had them listed, he had me go Cutomer Service and have them price match Target's current DC sale of $7.99 + BOGO half...so got all 4 fig's for $25.

Any chance of loose pics of Mr. Freeze next to a modern Star Wars figure?
