Sounds like it was just an ass that was looking for something to be pissed off about. I have hats from the different ships we did deck landings on, and some other ops, and it was never a big deal. Being an Army guy, I'd think we'd get razzed for it more, but never heard a peep.

Yea so I have not been on the site in a few days and I didn't realize how popular these had become. Sorry guys. For those of you I've already responded too, I have enough hats to cover your orders. For everyone else who wants one the bad news is that I'm out, the good news is I'm going to stop by my embroidery shop this afternoon and put in another order, so I should have a bunch more done in a month or so. I'll post something here when I get them in hand.

I'm hoping to do a different hat each year, and I've got a rough idea of the next 3 that I want to do (The defiant will be in there some where). I'm guessing those that come later will not be as popular as these were but you never know.

I understand the sentiment where some people may get bent out of shape, but I think Nomad hit it right on the head with how i was looking at it at the time, and since he's active military if he says it's cool then I figure I'm in the clear.
