I'll agree that the two most surprising omissions were the Cobra transport chopper and a comic pack Billy using the Storm Shadow body as a base.

I'll add one that I don't think has been mentioned - why was there no Big Lob in the 1987 line? I can somewhat understand there not being one after that, as Hasbro probably wanted to forget about the movie. But, surely the movie was in development for a long time, and it seems like Hasbro would have focused on a character that was in the animation rather than someone like Fast Draw. It's not like he would have been all that difficult to sculpt.

Guns... electronic light up role play guns that look like the most used ones on the cartoon.

Kind of surprised that when GiJoe returned to retail, that the battle rangers never made it into production.

And. really surprised that there weren't more repaints... I mean how come we never saw a green MBT Mauler, or brown MOBAT, or green Tomahawk?

Basically, how come any Joe vehicle made in green, wasn't reissued in brown and vice-versa?

and even for Cobra... you can make every vehicles in Blue, Black and Crimson...

I mean, they gave Night Force two large water craft and Sky Patrol the HAVOC...no Tomahawk.

A Python Tomahawk might not have been the greatest thing ever, but close.
