I doubt it's ever happened a month before a movie's planned release date. Obviously a surprise for everyone considering the toys are already hitting shelves.

I was hoping just the foreign release was pushed back.

Hasbro may keep distributing the toys beyond wave 2, but who knows if retailers will want them now that there is no movie to back them. If so, that sucks for Hasbro, because I'm sure that more items are in the pipeline already and production can't be stopped on them.

really... cancel renegades cartoon. cancel the poc line which was pretty damn good. collectors club gets hacked. switch movie to almost a year later. i seriously am so fed up with something that I used to love as a hobby. just can't quite explain how irritated I am with everything GI Joe the last year or so. just infuriating.

not really sure if all the "LASER BLAST" like this is really worth my time anymore. just not getting the fun vibe at all.

I am really hoping they can get some of the not-in-the-movie toys out, like Zartan (HE'S FROM RENEGADES!), the black ninja guy, the Cyber Ninja, the Night Viper, the Crimson Guard, etc.

I believe that no retailer has been allowed to place pre-orders for wave 3.

My guess is they'll warehouse it until the movie comes out. Wave 1 and 2 will come out (maybe wave 2 in less quantity) but that's all we will see until March.

Basically GIJOE is going away until March. That's my guess.

Holy "LASER BLAST", this could end up being REALLY bad... The crappiest, least inspired toys they've made since 25A started, WITHOUT the media push? By the time the movie hits, it's toys will already be clearanced out and no retailer is going to want any more.

Zartan is already out, since he is in the initial shipments. I seriously doubt we'll see the others anytime soon, at least not anywhere other than Ross/TJ Maxx/Marshall's.

That whore has paid them in spades via a certain robot line. But for Joe, yeah - this was not a good partnership
