Come to think of it, I hated much any figure that had some sort of action gimmick built into the body. I could never get Honda or Chun Li to stay standing up.

I get that. Weird helmet thing, sunglasses, weird uniform. Just form a customizing stand point I find his parts hard to use.

Great accessories though.

I think with recoil he seems like he'd be great custom fodder, then isn't, and it's annoying. I so wish his weapons where a different color, but his pack is cool, and that claymore kit is one of the most under rated accessories out there.

I always liked Recoil, but I think it's because he reminds me of one of my brothers, or a militarized Dale Gribble. I also like Tollbooth with his smarmy look. I'd have to say the figure I don't care for is Armadillo. He looks like a cut-rate Remco figure, not a Joe.

Even though I have one carded, Flak Viper... stupid back pack, and overtly village People uniform.

Blowtorch - Yes, he does. First neon figure, useless specialty for modern warfare. He sticks out like a sore thumb in the otherwise awesome 84 sculpts as an eyesore, and worse always draws the eye.

Zartan v2. Just a mess. I have other reasons for hating him, but lets just stick to color.

Snake Eyes and Scarlet Ninja Fighters. With kick the figure line off the shelves action. They're deformed. Scarlett has hips that suggest she could birth enough kids to have a reality show and not even notice.

Worst face has to go to Armadillo, which is marginally worse than effects or clean sweep, and at least the latter two come with a helmet.

Deejay definitely makes my list: crappy accessories and those awful boots are a tough thing to overcome. I've got a Deejay custom in the works, though, so I'm trying to give him some dignity.

The one figure I haven't seen pop up in the thread is Wet-Suit (1992): A lot of people have said Armadillo has the worst head in the line (with Effects being in the argument, too), but the 92 Wet-Suit's head is my least favorite single piece in the line. I hate that thing; I don't even keep it among my other custom fodder, because I know I'll never use it. The re-issue of it with that feverish pink skin tone might actually be worse, but the original is still the one that sticks with me.

A few others:

-Ice Cream Soldier (1994): I know the last couple of years are full of easy targets, but I just don't like that figure. The really fanciful uniform design and the brutal color scheme are not my cup of tea. Oh, and the codename is horrendous.
-Shadow Ninjas Nunchuk (1994): You could really throw all of the Ninja Force and Shadow Ninja figures in with him, but Nunchuk is particularly bad. One of the very few figures that I wouldn't even consider buying.
-Heli-Viper (1992): He proves it's possible to make good parts look awful. The color scheme on the uniform makes me sad.
-Flak-Viper (1992): He's got a Logan's-Run-like one-shouldered tank top on, with a skin-tight green bodysuit underneath. He looks like a mid-80's aerobics instructor with a helmet on. The only good thing about him, really, is all of the Ghost customs his lower legs have been used for.
-Python Patrol (1989): Any of 'em. I just don't like the Python Patrol look at all.
-Zandar and Zarana: I just never liked them, either as characters or as figures. Zandar does have a mildly interesting back-story, though.

And, of course, the spray-tanned Sonic Fighters Road Pig. Between him and the Talking Battle Commander Hawk, what was with the sound-effects guys and the orange skin tones?
