I really wish this store chain would expand to more areas. as it is, they seem to be out-buying TJ Maxx on toys, meaning TJ Maxx isn't really getting much anything in like they used to, but Ross has less stores. The nearest to me is 2 states away.

It just sucks to have 2 or more stores in an area and either finding nothing or maybe only 1 store having the items. Some people have 5 in their area and still find nothing.

Wen today to 2 ROSS stores. 1 had nothing, the other had 1 single HISS scout. I went to the manager to ask with hope that maybe they had more. He claimed a truck just came in and that was all they had. I told him the case pack out people are reporting, but he insisted there was no other GIJoe items today and that was packed loose with other items. That doesn't sound right to me, but I know at KB Toys, we used to get repack cases that had misc items in one box with pre-printed price tags for everything packed in. Who knows, but I'll keep looking as usual. Sucks to have to keep going back. I wish Hasbro would just put this stuff up on HTS.
I went to two. Neither had either.

Yep, I never found the Resolute packs. But then I never saw the Cobra Island packs either. This will probably be the only shipments going out and if the lottery doesn't roll in favor, it just won't show. I hope they stop getting stuff or start getting better stock.

Honestly, in this case, I'm not too bothered. The HISS Scout is no great vehicle on its own and the apparent connection to the tank looks like it was never actually finished. And I've not seen many great reviews of the bike armor, it seemed to get a sort of "why did they even bother?" reaction from people. But then again, when the one store chain that is getting this type of stuff has few stores cross country, and most of their stores seem to not get anything...

I have access to 2 TJ Maxx stores, which Ross has been cutting into in terms of buying up stock. I have Ollie's, which is really hit or miss on getting anything good in. They got SDCC Baroness and the Cobra Island sets, but that's been all of any real note.

As remote a possibility as it is, at least you have Ross in your area to find them at. Me, I just have to be happy the supply is increased so hopefully eBay prices will drop.

Yeah that's true. Better "glass is half full" way to see it than my usual "glass is half empty" way, hehe. I'm always bad at looking at the negative no matter how far in the positives I get.

It can be fustrating.
There are 10 stores in the Las Vegas Valley. I hit 5 today and only found two Hiss Scouts and One Cycle.
When the resolute packs were out I bought my fill and sent some to dr.bindy.
I Know.. I know shut up Joe.

I'm really hoping the last wave ( Sci Fi, Lifeline, etc...) shows up at Ross or TJ MAX it may be my only chance to see those figures.

Or I'll trade these out for those. Any takers??? ;-)

I should be able to get you a Lifeline and some of the other figs for a Cycle Armor. I've not see a Sci-Fi, though.

Were you looking for anyone else?

I've got an Airtight and a SciFi (though Sci Fi might be loose) that I'd pony up for a cycle armor. Haven't seen Law or Lifeline in awhile.

It's dried up of most anything GIJoe here. I haven't seen any restock of the new waves since before Christmas.

I absolutely agree. The HISS scout and bike armor are half-ass vehicles. If they were more widely available, they would have been shelfwarmers. For $8.99, they are not much of a deal compared to the Artic HISS and Stinger at the same price.

Just in case all I really want is one HISS scout driver.

if you can score me a scout HISS, you can have the driver from it, I just need the tank

Deal!
I scored 2 HISS Scouts.
No cycles. They got more MARS troopers too.

No one wants a HISS Scout??? I could use Lifeline, SciFi, or Law&Order. :shifty:

If Ross operates anything like Marshalls/TJMaxx then that type of thing isn't unusual at all. They generally don't get whole cases of that stuff. They'll just get an assortment of random figures sent to them in a box with other stuff.

Hasbro can't put anything on HTS unless HTS orders it. HTS is no different from any other online retailer, they just happen to exclusively sell Hasbro merchandise. Hasbro has no say on what they do and do not stock.

If that is in fact the way it works, then that. I think it's a little more than that, but the point was that I wish they were on HTS.
