WOW...3 pages in this thread. Here is the deal.... Kamakura IS Sean Collins. Sean Collins IS a white boy with red hair. As others have stated, the head used is not unique to this figure and the artist who did the card art most likely knows nothing about who Kamakura is other than the what he saw in the figure design. Its only natural for most people to think a ninja character would be asian. That does not mean that the big H has decided that Kamakura is all of a sudden an asian dude. File card says "Sean Collins" which does not sound too asian to me.

For the record... why the F is that damn figure blue instead of green? Damn hold over from Sigma 6. There will be NO movie Kamakura in my collection unless I make my own. I really hate that figure.

And the toy's got black eyebrows, so maybe even if he is Sean Collins, white boy, he's got black hair. After all, this continuity's given us blond Baroness, brown-haired Duke, black Ripcord, Moroccan Breaker, British Heavy Duty, child prodigy Scarlett and so forth....
It's not Sunbow and it's not Marvel comics and it's not Devil's Due comic. Honestly, if Sean isn't the son of Snake-Eyes' former vietnam buddy who joined Cobra but then became good again, and if he's not even white.... Deal with it.

I think it's got less to do with Sigma Six and much more to do with the fact that blue is the go-to camo color for the ROC line.
I think his video game design is in his traditional green colors, though. Who knows, Hasbro may be saving up the green for a repaint further down the line.

I suppose the blue could be cause of the movie even though the actual movie costumes are grey camo, not blue. (they had a bunch on display at the Arclight theater when I went to see the movie).

No I did not. I did not know they were going to be there so I did not bring a camera. All I had was my cell phone and no flash so it was not working out. They had a female and male set of the grey fatigues, a suit of the reactive impact armor, Snake Eyes' winter suit and Snake Eyes' Paris trench coat. There was also a glass case with several of the guns, pulse blasters and grenades as well as the M.A.R.S. case that holds the 4 war heads. It was a pretty neat display. If I go back, I will get pics.
