Yea these and Terminator stuff turned up yesterday. Not too great, Uhura is the only one I am interested in. I think this is one case where the "Build-A..." format may bite them in the ass. No way am I buying all these figures, and thus, no way am I buying an incomplete playset either.

I was shocked to see this week that at my local Walmart, the 3 inch figures are only a $1.20 cheaper than the 6inch figures.

Found these at Target today--well, what had been picked over, anyway, and was shocked to find an Uhura. Unfortunately other than her head, the rest of her was pretty disappointing; tiny hands, no elbows? C'mon! I can't even get her to stand up (and does a clip-on figure stand make ANY sense?) Other than Spock and Original Spock (the former because I need the heads for Elves, the latter because, hell, he's SPOCK!) I don't see myself investing too much in these.

Actually the clips come off to turn them into battle stands, I have read this complaint alot as people had no way of knowing.

So far I am pleasently surprized as I expected LESS articulation that what is on these with the exception of Uhrua.

I found these at KMart. I got Spock. With B1 station. I'm disappointed in the figure: it's so small and thin, like a 1980's figure. Like the 1982 Joes or the old Star Wars figures.

I'm even more disappointed in the playset parts. I thought the Bridge Playset would make a cool Terror Drome command center or communications room, but from the pictures and parts I've seen it's just a bunch of chairs and consoles (really just stickers on tables) arranged in a circular fashion.

I just picked up Sulu and Uhura at Walmart. I almost picked up McCoy too but I'll go back for him later. And old Spock wasn't there so I'll keep a look out for him.

Cause heaven forbid the figures be inline with 89% of the collections in the universe.

It'd be fine if they were charging the same as those 80's joes and original SW figures were sold for, but at these prices, I expect a bit more bang for my buck. As it is, I may pick up Uhura for a custom, and maybe Spock (I'll have to wait to see him in person...I really just want a good Sylar head), but that's really it.

The curse of female figures - if you make them in decent quantities, they run the risk of becoming peg warmers. But (in the usual scenario), you shortpack them - the scalpers snatch them up like there's no tomorrow. Just got back from 2 Targets, a TRU, and Walmart. Could find every figure EXCEPT Uhura (the only one I'm looking for). Grumble.

Well, I finially saw these at work yesterday.

I picked up the bridge playset. It's a little pricey for what you get but overall, it's not too bad. I went with it on the theory that you get some complete pieces and a figure to try out.

The figure is kind of scrawny. But aside from the t-crotch, the articulation is pretty good. I know some people have said about how short they are, but that's kind of relative. Kirk is right around ARAH size joes. So, if 25th ann is your thing, they will look way out of place . . .

Can't say I'm crazy about the build a bridge concept. Don't really want to have to buy that many figures. :-(

I do like the pieces I got with the bridge though. Would have been nice if the chairs at helm and navagation were closer to the console though. Figures arms really don't reach . . .

Got Spock (Sylar), Uhura, and Sulu at Wal-Mart. As has been said, very rubbery figures. I don't care about the scale or the t-crotches but I was surprised by how bendy they felt in hand. The accessories were cool but I'll have to give them minimate communicators.

Also, I found out about the badge/stand thing while wearing mine all day. The stand part just fell off. Its actually a neat concept making the stand wearable. As zed said though, they could have said that anywhere on the packaging. Then again they might have. I didn't really read the packaging before I tossed it.

anyone thought of posting a prioce point list, so that we know who has the cheaper price?

I know wal-mart were selling these for 6 dollars and some change when I saw them yesterday...

I think Wal-Mart just lowered the price on these this week. They were about $6.43 or something like that last night. I could have sworn they were just under $7 (like TRU) the week before.

I paid $6.43 at Wal-Mart. I haven't seen them anywhere else yet to compare.

Well, finally saw them today...my Target had all of them (even Uhura and old Spock). Passed on all of them. The young Spock's head just didn't look evil enough for Sylar. I may get Uhura if she reaches clearance, but they just didn't do much for me. Packaging is pretty cool, though.
