Well I went ahead and started my team, with my limited parts and supplies I have gone with Jinx as a starting point. I went with the BatGirl (Micromen) as a base for the body. She will need a new waist which I don't have yet and a new head (but I do have my eye on a couple potential heads once I have the cash to throw around.)
I started on her last night by completely disassembling her to take the waist off. Then tries my hand at Sculpting (Its been awhile). So I sculpted a red dragon onto the chest piece and it doesn't look to bad, surprisingly.. Once I finish the black base paint Ill post a picture..
Questions:
After the black base is applied I want to do the grey on black camo type thing from the 2000 Lady Jay figure.

That looks very airbrushed to me. But I don't have an air brush. Any tips on how to get that look without and air brush?
Question 2: What type of gear should Jinx have that says "Jinx" while also saying "Ghost Killer"?
So any thoughts or tips?
1: I dunno, it's pretty difficult to get the airbrushed affect without actually using one.
2: That's simple. Just use regular ninja weapons. It's all in the back story, provided you're not to reality-based.
A: pick your source. Family heirloom, found a mission, bought in an old China Town novelty shop, what have you
B: pick your power. Glows in the presence of a certain supernatural creature (much like Blibo's
Sting), blade encased in flame or lighting, or made out of an exotic material with "anti-ghost" properties (Jade, crystal), or maybe have it made out of the bones of a long dead demon?
C: give it a cool name. Blue Dragon, Blade of Hachiman, Amaterasu's Spear (or better yet something in a foreign language)
Or, ya know, just give her a rifle and say the scope is tuned into a hidden spectrum that picks up ghosts.
