They've added all of the other wave 8 pics now (click link in first post). All stuff we've seen before, though. I'll probably end up with a few of the divers, and probably one or two PP CGs for kitsch sake, but that's about it. And of course the Ninja Vipers.

I still don't understand why that Tripwire is exactly the same as the comic pack one. I like the Cobra Commander from that comic pack so if I ever do pick that up, I'll have that Tripwire, but then I'll be spending eight bucks to get just the desert element, really? That's silly.

Yeah, I can see why people who bought that pack would feel hosed. I didn't, so thankfully I don't and hey, neat desert element!

I agree that it is silly that we have to buy Tripwire again to get one of the elements, but I guess it's no worse than buying face-plate CC version 2,051 to get the red element. :-/

:tripwire: No I deem this single pack Tripwire BETTER than the comic one because it looks like the removed the Flash padding. Therefore I skipped the comic pack one.
Still no :cobra: Cobra logo for the diver though?

Can't decide whether to pull the trigger on a preorder of this wave. I'll buy Tripwire, the diver, and the Ninja Viper (whom I didn;'t care about when he was Storm Shadow) and one Python CG. I like that they're apparently giving Ripper the Crimson Twin arms (which I did on my CP Ripper) but he's not enough of an improvement for me to buy one.

Does that mean the Cobra Commander that they said would be part of the wave has been pulled? If so, better get your red elements while you can, folks.

I think these are just the "new" figures introduced in this wave. The filler figures, which include Crystal Commander are still coming as far as I know.

Can we be sure of that? I seem to remember seeing some early promotional images of the Comic Pack Tripwire that had the smooth padding as well. I'd be glad if this new version was smooth-chested, but I'm not sure I fully trust early sales pictures.

When it comes to Hasbro I doubt we can ever be sure. :shifty: However they did surprise us with the Ninja Viper.

Anything hasbro puts out. . . someone will buy, :)

Packaged pics now on tni.

http://i.toynewsi.com/g/index.php?mode= ... 00&start=0

Trooper is now basically the Legions 5-pack one with black webbing/straps, dunno if I like it or not.

Tripwire has the quilted padding

Tempted to buy Ripper just for the black rifle with painted blade

Diver now has Cobra logo, and the Para-Viper head? Wish the white stripes on his legs went all the way up. Still undecided on a case purchase. If it included multiple Troopers or Ninja-Vipers, I'd be all over it.

I bet that scope is *really* useful underwater.

You're just jealous because you don't have a scope to zoom in on stuff underwater.

Hater.

Nope! Looks like new case shipments are out with Ninja Viper. Hope that's right!
