Okay, I'm SERIOUSLY impressed with Big Ben. I like the headsculpt. Although it somehow looks a little less -- British than the original headsculpt somehow -- and I don't think I could even explain that -- the headsculpt reminds me more than a little of how Big Ben appeared in his few appearances in the animated series (one of the few highlights of the DIC series was that we actually got to see Big Ben, Red Star, and Big Bear in animated action), and it looks a bit younger than the original Big Ben, which isn't a bad thing, really.

The uniform comes together well, and presents itself as a very capable modern figure incarnation of the character. The British flag on the sleeve is a very welcome touch, as well. I would gladly welcome this Big Ben into my collection!

The original head sculpt reminded me of Cary Grant. I didn't really notice how much until I modded a later version Big Ben head.

Crimson Guard Immortal. Not bad. The POC Firefly vest looks a bit big but other than that I dig it.

hmm. not bad. I think it could benefit from a slightly larger build. Like maybe the IG Destro forearms, Poc Destro Legs? Give him that battlefield look.

I don't know. i think it came out ok this way.

The chest armor is a little big, but overall, I like what I see. Of course, I'm a longtime fan of the Crimson Guard Immortals, so it's tough NOT to like this figure.

And I love the flag.

I'm glad they shook things up and made something that has a CG Immortal vibe. The concept case's head sculpt was cool (and I'm glad they got to use it), but decking it out in full PoC City Strike Destro garb just didn't feel like the Immortal I knew from growing up. I think the PoC Firefly vest is a great call and it's really coming together nicely. I was going to wait and sign up until after everything was revealed, but these last few reveals have gotten me so sold, I'm close to doing it right now.

Since these previews are all photoshop jobs, would that make this a CGI CGI?

I like that. Never would have thought of using that vest. I think it works really well.

Never really liked the CGI's, but it's a solid update for the design. Even if this were on pegs, I think I'd probably pass it up, but for fans of the character I'm betting it'll go over well.

I liked the way the colors of the concept case version were more subdued, but I still like this for the most part. It's a lot of silver, but still pretty cool.

I like it. I hope they go for a darker red like the original Immortal, not the lighter CG red. I always loved the CGI red.

I'm not sure where you saw a concept case CGI like you described. The concept case version from 2012 used the same parts as this figure, though that version had a minigun for a weapon.

Just taking a closer look at the parts and the arms appear to be Retaliation Cobra Trooper (the blue one) and the legs Retaliation Snake-eyes v1.

I believe that is correct.

I think the arms look a bit lanky, but overall it is decent. I generally don't want the Club to give us army builders in the FSS because of the difficulty in getting multiples. However, of the army builders that have been in the FSS, I've never felt tempted to get multiples of them, and CGI doesn't break that trend. It's definitely a better figure than Nano-BAT or Desert Scorpion, but the character/design only ever got used in the DIC cartoon and isn't particularly useful to me other than checking off another vintage update in modern form. 'll probably just use him as Neo-Viper Commander.
