I just saw pics of the December/January wave that's coming out in the UK.

The Blitzer looks pretty cool. The Mutant Scoop Dalek is also in this wave supposedly.

this line has been worth it to me for the Daleks, but oh to have had these made fully in the modern-Joe 4" style. The sculpts of the humans all end up too small for me to use, but it would be a treasure trove of civilian fodder otherwise.

Yeah, I'm hoping the next Toy Fair (or whenever appropriate for a UK company) that they show a big leap in capturing the humans (and such). A consistent artic scheme would be nice, too.

Scored the Series 8 costume 12th Doctor figure at Walgreens on the way home from work! Now I am all caught up until the Dalek 2pks, Dalek Patrol Craft, light blue TARDIS, mutant Scoop Dalek, Skovox Blitzer and Hide Timezones make their way to the US :)

Also, has anyone played around with Pond's head on another 1:18 female? I like the idea of using one for my custom of her, and one for Nebula, but I'm skeptical of both sculpt and scale.

I've got an idea to headswap between Amy and HBII Liz Sherman. I was thinking Liz would make for a good civilian body for my Motoko figure, but Amy is probably the easier conversion. Two wig paintjobs after = two new random civilian females.

And the gold Supreme Dalek is just a random variant thru Walgreen's? I've got four each of the regular Daleks, and a gold would make a nice leader and round out a nice nine-tet, but I've seen that one nowhere.

Gold Supreme Dalek is currently showing up at Barnes & Nobel and was available from www.whona.com before they sold out in 2 days.

The Liz Sherman goes EXCELLENTLY with these Doctor Who figures. I got a 10th Doctor in the trenchcoat in a trade and needed a companion, since most of the Amy Ponds and Claras were long gone. I threw Liz next to him, and sure enough, she looks like she came with these offerings.

Also, the Spinning Tardis with the sticker interior is sweet. You know, the magnetic one not the one with the propellor blades.

Some of the MU gals have tiny heads as well. Going to go through the lot and see who comes closest to a Rose Tyler in shape and look.

Any idea why the ninth doctor wasn't made in this series?

It's still salad days, yo. I'm hoping for an upgrade of the human standard before they start widening the library. But still, the line is young and they're still catching up to the status quo much less ready to start plumbing 10+yo history.

And thanks for the reminder, Specs. I'll try to swing by a B&N soonish.

He was a one season wonder, but it may happen some day. I'm kinda feeling lucky just to have the 10th and Amy.

You can always customize your own 9th Doctor using the James McCullen figure from the SDCC Destro pack.

True. I was just curious since the other 3 modern doctors are there.

I'm gonna wait until after Xmas to go looksee. I only want one gold Supreme, and can wait. I was disappointed to learn unscrewing the baseplate doesn't really aid toward disassembly of the Daleks. Once the plate is off, it looks to be glued together all the way up from there.

A friend of mine in the UK sent me the three UK-TRU Dalek 2 packs. They're pretty sweet. No sign of those here yet.
