I was never a huge fan of the Overkill parts back in the day, but on this figure they seem to work well. I think with the silverish color and the parts use, it looks very much like an "economic" B.A.T., or an assembly line machine type of thing. Pretty cool.

Lanny confirmed on the GIJCC forums that his chest DOES have a lenticular sticker as well with new custom art. A very cool touch.

Well crap. Now I'm going to have to get a couple off the 'bay. The lenticular sells it for me. They'll look good backing up my Skank-vipers from last year's set.

Hotwire was a character introduced in the GI Joe collectible card game. I never thought to see or hear of him again. It'll be interesting if he shows up as a bonus figure.

Here he is:

I'm excited about the BAT. I think this is a reasonable looking set, even if half of it is teal.

And if they do a Hotwire, I want a freaking Mindbender.

Wow, that is complete crap. Blech.

I like the filecard though. I hope it means we're getting Hotwire!

Blegh. The v2 torso simply doesn't work with the pelvis and legs at all. The paintscheme is quite nice, tho; easily the best of all the figs shown so far; but damn that's an ugly parts recipe. Too bad they didn't go with nova's use of OK's torso as well, as that would've made all the difference. Glad they offer a $10 one-day entrance fee option!

Not too bad. Not enough to make me get the set, but I'll try to get one or two on eBay

I really like the BATs, though I'm really looking forward to the prospect of getting a Hotwire figure!

So far the only figure I'll be hunting Ebay for. I wonder what the V1 prices will do.
Now let's wait for the three Joes.

Better than I expected. I really do like the look and parts combo, but it's still not enough to get me to drop the cash. Definitely interested in the prospect of a Hotwire figure, even though I'm pretty much only buying 25th format stuff these days.

There won't be a change for any reason I can foresee. These figures are different enough that they shouldn't play anymore of a factor than the mail ins did awhile back.

This figure looks awesome. Much better than the version one in my opinion. Yellow isn't as intimidating as one may think.

I would think you'll see a bit of a drop in price...but not because of the Con figure...it'll be because of the 25th figure...especially if it makes its way into a multi pack or army builder set.

The good thing about BATs is that they're robots: almost any combination of parts works for them. That's also why I use all my BATs together from the v1 all the way to the DTC Sky BATs.
