I got mine today!!
Here's my 2 cents:
Presentation: A+ I think it is soooo cool that even though he is just a mail-in freebie, he came fully carded. As a bonus, it looks like Hasbro found the original art for him, it doesn't look like one of those awkward Photoshopped touch-ups most new figs have. The collector's case included is very nice too. Not my thing, but I can see how a lot of collectors will appreciate it. And his shipping box even had a big ol' G. I. Joe logo on it!
Accessories: B+ Love the painted details and texture on the stretcher, his med pouch is a GREAT new addition, and his little flare pistol is the perfect touch. Easily could have been another A+, except his helmet. In the old days, when you snapped a helmet on a Joe, it stayed, dammit! It stayed on through play in the water, mud, car, sand, etc. Not a single one of the new figures' helmets stay on if you handle them at all. I guess its sadly true these figs are for display, not play. Which brings me to:
Figure: B- I actually want to give it a D because of all the reused parts and AWFUL arms, but they did a pretty decent job of making him look like the original Doc, and the colors are a prefect match.
Overall: As a display figure, he gets an A-, as an ACTION figure, I can't give more than C- at best.
Ironically, the one figure not sold in stores is the ONLY figure I had no problem acquiring. Go figure...
