Back when the whole DEF thing came out, I made Chuckles a drug dealer. He seemed a little more realistic dealer to me than Headman who I didn't get until a few years ago. For some reason Chuckles Hawaiian shirt always made me think of some slick ass Miami coke lord. As a side note, I actually took baking powder and oregano and plastic baggies and made little packets of drugs the Joes could seize. It was actually a lot of fun.

Same as Mace, as an intel guy. But I am giving serious thought to using his noggin as a maturing Shortfuze, since all my remaining Joes sport the more serious looking Battle Corps heads.

When Chuckles came out, I thought, it's Don Johnson. Kid of neat Miami Vice inspired figure, but didn't have a big place on an anti-terrorist combat team. Now, I like the idea of him as a CIA "spook." He's an American tourist. Spending a lot of time being seen entering and leaving heavily guarded rooms.

I recently wrote my first dio scenes featuring Chuckles and, for a character I just never really knew how to use as a kid, I'm kind of giddy at the possibilities.

I'm definitely going the "undercover" route with him, but I see him as more of a loaned asset than a Joe regular. In fact, the first time he meets the Joes in my 'verse, he's less than thrilled to see them.

Ultimately I don't see him as the kind of character you'd find just hanging around the Pit. He's out there, working an angle and getting whatever he can on the bad guys...any way he can.

"I would kill to have one in the 25th line."

How do you think I feel? I want a new figure of Chuckles probably more than anyone!

My Chuckles, of course, featured prominently in my dios. One of my favorite characters, easily, especially because of the way he was written in Special Missions and the Destro: Search & Destroy storyline.

I don't really like Chuckles, altough i like his head.

but then again i'm not reallly into the joes that don't look like soldiers. SAme with cobras, not to into the weird ones like serpentor and stuff. I was like that as a kid too.

My first Chuckles just sat in the havoc. Growing up everyone hated Chuckles so i ended up with four. They quickly becam my joes on weekend leave, Hawk , Flint and Crosscountry.
Today i use him as a James bond type my custom with a Jvc Blow torch head and Jvc Snakeeys head.

I use Chuckles as a spook on loan to the DoD, who are loaning him out to the Joes. Initially, this was a temporary assignment that became more long-term until the end of the initial Joe-Cobra conflict and the Joes were disbanded. When the team was reinstated, Chuckles was on a deep cover operation in Asia and unable to be reached by the Joes, though his name was on a reactivation roster. When that roster was stolen by Cobra, they blew his cover by sending his name, rank and photograph to every known terrorist they could reach.

The group he was infiltrating got the information and sent him on a mission to acquire arms from an un-named dealer. He was sent straight into Cobra hands and barely escaped after being near fatally wounded. Since then he's lost any sense of humor and sits behind a desk at HQ in charge of all undercover operations, waiting for the chance to return the favor to Cobra, personally, for his unfortunate limp.

Chuckles is a figure i never bought as a kid or went back to add to my collection as an adult...just never was a fan and so uh, i don't lose sleep over it...i guess. yeah, pretty sure i don't lose sleep over what to do with chuckles.

but for anyone watching the hawks-celtics game tonight, his uncle was sitting behind the scorer's table, rocking a hawaiian shirt lol
