I'm underwhelmed and leaning towards disappointment. It's strange, the colour isn't bad, but that much of it has turned me off. I think if the legs were black and the torso green I'd be much happier.

0 for 2 in my book. Again, the colors are hideous. They look like rejected paint apps from the 90's.

Interesting color scheme, but not outstanding. Better than the neon green repaint version though.

Much like Hawk, I'm just glad this great mold is no longer MIA. The Headhunter design is one of my faves from the later years. :-)

I was really considering getting the con set as this will be my first year to go. I'm not too fond of the color scheme though, even though I think the mold choices are great.

I did a quick photochop of some alternate colors that could've appealed more to me.

http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/aa22 ... hunter.jpg

1) Cobra Blue: Seems like Lt. Clay More is the only "classic blue" Cobra that's been in the exclusive sets, but I'm not that familar with them all. I'm a sucker for cobra army builders in the blue and red color scheme.

2) Brown Leathers: Kinda of a reversal of the figure's original colors. He looks a little to Major Bluddish this way though.

3) True Gray: A little dull, but I'd be more interested in the figure if the shade of green-blue they chose was a little less saturated maybe.

Just daydreaming. Looks to be a strong set, but I was disappointed with the color choice, particularly on this figure.

DAYUM!

They're all great, but that blue one is NIIIIIIIIIIICE!

Suddenly I'm not feeling the blue green :(

I don't mind the colors at all. I liked the Sunbow versions of the Headhunters as enemies to Cobra & G.I. Joe much better. It's too bad they didn't go that route. Then we would also have gotten a few Cobras in the mix.
I got last years exclusive. I thought that was a good investment into some newly created molds. However now I think it is just way too expensive.

That particular color is unique, and I can see why MC wants to throw in on a figure. It certainly keeps it from looking like the original figure, but it would be better suited to a figure in a wetsuit.

Still, it's not a bad figure, but it doesn't seem to fit the character.

Headhunter #1:

"Hey, let's go smuggle crates and crates of cocaine and firearms into the country! Along the way, we'll have to fight the Coast Guard, the DEA, the police, and maybe even GI Joe's DEF."

Headhunter #2:

"I'm in! What are you going wear?"

Headhunter #3:

"Teal, baby. Lots of teal. Maybe a teal suit."

Not bad. Glad to see the original mold surface. With so many lost molds reappearing I can only hope that someday someone will find the original Televiper mold.

I prefer the original colors over this one, but this one is still okay. The logo is a little distracting, though.

Well, at least we're only getting two in that particular color scheme. Wonder if the HH Stormtroopers will just be this mold with a different head or something? Seems like a waste to dig out the mold and only use it for two figures in the set. But I guess if they have the v BAT mold then that'd be the real cash cow.

Not sold yet . . . though I'm all over the Claw Mech if it's made available.

I kinda like how it changes the figure from street-thug in leather to bodyguard in a tailored suit (with shoulder armor :shifty: ). That said I haven't been wowed by the set so far though it'd not be fair to judge based on just two figures. If the trend continues and we get the Headhunter Stormtrooper mold in some "make me "LASER BLAST" bricks" look then I'll be really impressed.
