I will be there, 7 conventions in a row, cannot break the streak! Also looks like the whole family will be going this year, my 4 year old is almost as excited about going to Joe Con as she is about going to Disney in May!

Barring a miracle, I'm out. Was running the numbers and I just can't afford it. Which sucks, because I had a great time last year. You guys kick ass at trivia again for me.


Lousy car. I mean, I can get by without heat, but in MN the defrost feature is pretty essential.

The reduced time between cons knock anyone else out of the running? I agree that September wasn't ideal but I would have liked them to at least have waited till August or something. Probably could have replenished my mad money by then.

that's the reason the boss (by boss i mean wife) gave me.

the reason i gave myself is i have to cover my tru.com, hasbro.com, and bbts.com credit card bills....

Ditto, plus the 30th is my Daughter's 3rd birthday, so I am definitely out. And yeah, HH, the short turnaround time is also a major consideration, in some ways it still feels like the Atlanta convention just happened.

Im not going to be able to make it either. Between my Wife's Birthday on the 26th, my vacation the week before the con and my vacation 2 weeks after the con to Alaska I'm pretty much tapped as far as funds go. I guess Ill have to settle for the Homefront heros set this year and see if I can get Dream or someone else to pick up the extras for me.

I am totally on the fence right now. At first I was a no-go only because it would eat up too much time off to drive out. But flying out makes it a possibility. The cost means nothing. I have no one to answer to and I have a credit card. A dangerous combo. :twisted:

Sadly if I fly, I wouldnt want to get caught smuggling jell-o shots in my suitcase :-(

Jimmyboy did a good job makin me think its a possibility. I guess I need a tad more convincing......

It would be fun.
