The proportions are a bit odd, and they don't seem to be of a size to precisely match any Joe, but the overall design is good. I'll be keeping an eye out for these. My local Walmart carries Corps. Of course, my local Walmart hasn't restocked in so long I'm surprised the figures aren't sneezing from all the dust on them.

I find the extensive backstory given them this time around quite remarkable. Lanard doesn't usually bother with that sort of thing all that much.

Its interesting how Lanard copies whatever format Hasbro uses for GI Joe instead of staying consistent to their own style or creating something unique to their line.

That's how they're able to sell their stuff for so much less than Hasbro, Mattel, etc. Let the big guys do the heavy lifting, then borrow from them to eek out your corner of the market. It's the same principle that gives you companies like Net10, Cricket Wireless, etc. You let the big guys with the money spend the money on development, then you copy their successes and avoid their failures. It's a perfectly good strategy, especially if the market is there for it, but it's not a strategy that yields innovation.

Seeing how Hasbro seems to have no plans to offer figures to the masses, it's hard to fault companies like Lanard from filling in the gaps. But in all honesty the o ring which made the ARAH was first used by Mego in their figures. In some ways I kinda like the large T post better than what Hasbro uses, less parts to fool with when you crack a torso.

I picked up the 3pack with the 'good' girl, although the shaven head and scowl makes me think they swapped the two chick characters. The torso joint is nearly useless due to the oversculpting under the boobs and should blades; there's zero bending and swiveling is forced. She's SheHulk-sized, which has me wondering who's at that size in fatigues that she can be turned into.

A reduction in leg length would make these figure fit in with Joe figures. That shouldn't be too hard and would be welcome for $2 a pop.

Just checked the local wal-mart. Their Corps section is fully stocked with not these....

It's all our small Walmart has now. They have the three packs and singles. I hope they get some of the other stuff in soon.

You know, I finally saw these figures in person today, and -- what a disappointment in one very significant area. The figures are nicely sculpted, well articulated, and for the most part, decently painted -- except for the eyes. The one visible eye on the heroic female is way off, almost on the side of her forehead, and the eyes on the villainous female are badly misaligned, with the right one halfway down her face.

And every version that I saw today was exactly the same.

Is it really asking too much for Lanard to improve their aim? I've seen this problem with several female figures in Mattel's Masters of the Universe Classics line -- and it's REALLY unacceptable there given what those things cost, but at least it's possible to find figures that are properly painted.

I see these, and at least four of each one, and they were ALL off THE SAME WAY -- and that just tells me that they're all like that, and no one cared enough to paint the entire production run properly. :(

Take a picture next time you see this trekker . Every figure I've seen online (forums / Facebook) and in this thread seems fine with regard to their eye paint. The first post in this thread shows a figure that seems fine in that area as well

Yeah, no. All the figs in this thread are all related to Shannen Doherty, too. It's a problem with the whole run from what I can see here, the figs I saw at my WM, and the one I have inhand.

For 2 bucks a figure just pop of the heads and then find a head ya like better and pop it on. I already have an idea for a Cobra counterpart to Covergirl using one of these.

I took a look at Toy Nutz post again annnnnd I just noticed the lack of eye balance on the Puma figure 3/4 of the way down the page . I couldn't see it in other images but the image with Pumas head on a MU body shows it clearly .

Meh....head swap as John said as long as the figure doesn't exceed $2 or $3 dollar.

Has anyone tried the heads on a She-Hulk mold body? I've always had trouble finding heads big enough to look right on that one, so the larger size of these might actually work.
