Given the unfortunate quality issues that have been reported with this line -- how's the B.A.T.?

Fine. All of my 50th figures have been fine. Personally I feel like the quality issues have been greatly exaggerated.

I'll second that. I'll admit, Leatherneck's forearm paint coverage isn't great, but other than that, the stuff I got blind from BBTS sending it to me was pretty darn good. When I started reading all the posts I was expecting the worst things I ever bought, but really I don't see much bad in my samples. Heck, as I was writing up 50th Low Light for an eventual Field Report over at Joe-A-Day, I'm glad I waited to do it, because when I initially got him, I was really disappointed in him. But once I started reviewing him (and comparing him to the Pursuit of Cobra version), I really didn't notice that he was that much worse. There was a little slop on his red shoulder pad, but beyond that, they really were almost identically well-executed. Maybe I just got stupid lucky, but I'm not seeing much worse than anything else mass market in terms of paint problems.

I'll third that statement. I've bought quite a bit of 50th packs. On the figures that I got, most of the problems that have been reported have been present: Flint's forearms paint, Leatherneck's hair, HEAT Viper's purple stripes. However, I do think that a lot of the complaints are exagerated. Of course those little flaws look terrible when people read reviews and the picture is blown up 40x normal size. But displayed in a proper way, most defects are not that noticeable and most are easy fixes.

One recurring problem that I've had is that 1/3 to 1/2 of my Blowtorches have included Lowlight stands. Not losing sleep over it though.
