I like the figure alright. Female body molded in white. Heck you practically have a Buck Roger's Wilma Deering right there. But I don't like that head on that body. Too long of a neck. However, kutos to the club for bringing out that character. They know a cross-over sale when they see one.

I would have loved to get a new head sculpt for this figure, but I suppose the Cover Girl head works fine for the figure.

The bike is crap. Any Transformers bike would have worked. Ashiko cycle could have worked. Retaliation bike clearanced off in very similar colors just isn't a "collectible" to me.

The Ashiko cycle seems like it would be a good thematic fit. But, based on what I hear about it, I wouldn't actually want one. I do think it is strange to include a bike that nobody wanted at retail and closely matches the color of the retail release. I think the best approach would have been to not include a cycle at all. I've only read the first issue of the new "season" of Robots in Disguise so far, but I don't think Afterburner is closely associated with Marissa anyway .

From what people are saying this will be like the HAVOC mk II. You will have to be a member of the TF club (with a different email then your GIJCC membership) in order to get one, but it isn't the membership figure. Just an add on through their club store.

Yes, it is definitely a member add-on rather than the "free" member toy. However, I think there is a chance that they may make this particular exclusive available to both clubs - I certainly hope they do. I think it is a cool idea, but more of on the spectrum of "I'd get it as a Joe exclusive" rather than "I'd join the Transformers club to get it." In fact, I feel like this exclusive works better as a Joe club offering even if it is based on a Transformers character - it's Joe tooling, it is a character tied directly to two Joe characters, and the actual toy isn't in scale with anything Transformers (the last being a complaint I've seen from some TF collectors).

This makes more sense to me as a GI Joe Collectors Club Exclusive as opposed to a Transformers Club exclusive...especially considering that the bike doesn't even Transform. I'm curious as to Fun Pubs logic behind this.

It's a cool idea, but I bet the TF club guys are peaved that the motorcycle does not transform. But if it was an exclusive figure and an exclusive transformer, how much would that cost? $80? Maybe they figured TF Club members would just prefer to use the figure on transformers they already had as opposed to paying more? I don't know.

TF collectors aren't as tight with their wallets as Joe collectors are. If it were a transformable bike representing a character they wanted, they would gladly shell out the money. You should check out the amount of money TF guys shell out for third party figures. Heck, Salmoore, a third party remake of a Gobot, goes for $100, and that doesn't include a rider.

Even though it's only been used on two Cover Girls and Sparta, I am getting a bit tired of that head. I'd still like to get this figure though. I have the three Joe/TF SDCC cross-over sets and I think this would fit in nicely with the last one with Hound and Jetfire. As for the bike, I always thought it was kind of cool looking, so I got one for my Ultimate Firefly to ride. I'm still willing to check this set out next year.

Is that the Reso Scarlett body?

I believe it is. That would make a good Madame Masque base. :shifty:

This. The head is getting to be overused, but then again, I don't have any of those Cover Girls, and I sold my Sparta, so insofar as display in my collection is concerned, it wouldn't make much difference. I'd still like to have it.
