The Vamp set is cool, I may get one of these. But the rest is blah.. Nothing that new or interesting Maybe the Lowlight pack since I did miss him in singles... GI Joe has been very lacking for the last few years.. I think the last figure that made me really shop was the last PoC version of Steel Brigade.

Wasn't the Night-Landing and EEL supposed to be originally black? It seems like every item has something I don't need or want. Looks like I'll be buying sets and parting out stuff on eBay

I'm waiting for the Lady Jaye pack and the alternate deco VAMP. Any chance these will end up on Hasbro's site too? Maybe after SDCC?

The Black Eel and Night Landing comes with the Brown VAMP MK2 set. Which I really hope isn't just an SDCC exclusive.

It was all but confirmed after Toy Fair that the classic Vamp II and black Night Landing set would debut at SDCC FIRST then TRU after. Don't look for these at HTS as they are supposed to be TRU exclusive. How BBTS always seems to get other retailer exclusives I just don't know. They must have incriminating photos of every toy company's CEO or something.

I preordered one of each. I'm very relieved that I don't have to be at TRU at exactly the right day at exactly the right time to get them. I was really hoping that the re-release figures would be a little different in color, but I guess that wasn't gonna happen. Hawk and Blowtorch aren't even hard to find. You can still get them at a lot of CVS stores. It was the perfect chance to release the brown Blowtorch we heard rumors of a few years ago.

Wouldn't surprise me to see these through other e-tailers as well, but only time will tell on that. The Lady Jaye/Baroness and Arctic BAT/SNow Job packs are wave 2 of the two packs and are still planned. BBTS just doesn't have a ship date yet and thus, isn't taking preorders. Guess we'll find out more soon. I imagine it'll all be pretty clear by ToyFair. Tempted to preorder a few of everything, but I'm holding off for now. Just spent a bunch on other stuff and pumped a bunch of cash into the car, so that sucks.

Have to say, I am VERY impressed with the package design!

So no Joe SDCC exclusives this year? I guess I'll be hunting for these at TRU in the near future. Now I really feel like an idiot for passing on the $50 for $40 gift-card deal on eBay yesterday

FYI, on their Facebook page, BBTS said they will not be able to get the tan VAMP set. They are trying to order more vehicle sets, but are not certain they will be able to.
