I have a feeling we may not hear anything about this until SDCC, if it is going to be an actual release.

Actually I think it will be like the last batch of Amazon packs, a complete surprise until they go on sale. I'd imagine these will hit right around the time of the DVD release.

I hope something leaks before that. Maybe viperkingdom or another ebay seller will start selling incomplete Nunchuck and Slice and Roadblock from the set before Amazon reveals it.

I want to see Nunchuk looking like recognizable Nunkchuk based either NF or GvC version or a tribute-y mix of both... instead of a half ass nu design that looks nothing like any kind of Nunchuk at at all. We don't need a repeat of the silly armored surgical scrubs Retaliation version of Kamakura.

I would definitely prefer the Ninja Force version, which is probably easier to make anyway - they can probably just use the Dollar General Storm Shadow but maybe with the Night Creeper hood piece instead of the full hood. Besides, the GvC version was just Quick Kick with a different name (supposedly since Quick Kick was "dead").

nI know it was going to be QK and the Marvel continuity death is why they went with a different character. But I never had any issue accepting it as Ralph "Nunchuk" Baducci.

Fair enough. I guess it would be more clear to say that I don't want a GvC homage, as that design does nothing for me.

I seriously doubt Hasbro would make this a GvC update anyway. The GIJCC *might* if they were making Nunchuk, but Hasbro themselves, I doubt it. The only acknowledgement of the new sculpt era they've shown in the modern line is Burn Out in the 7-pack. And even that was a surprise to me. If this new Nunchuk is a tribute as opposed to a new design it will be to Ninja Force v1.
