Looks great, but I don't find myself that excited over it. Was this one of the highlights of the RAH era? Does it have any distinguishing features? I want to like this, and it looks great, but I think I would rather have seen a Dragonfly reissue with stiffer blades instead.

They showed the blades able to "fold" where it'd be easier to store. So yes it does have changes and also new guns and also the headsets.. The original went on EVERY mission my Joes took... Also the MAIN chopper used in Marvel comics and all of Hama's Joe comics as well..

And Gyre thanks for answering that question....

Still looks amazing. I can't wait to be able to go get one. I have the original and love it, but the windshield has turned brown on one side and the blades are fragile.

The only thing that I don't like about the new version is the bottom "glass" in the cockpit by the pilot's feet. There is no longer glass there and it is just painted to look like a continuation of the glass. That is a definite downgrade. But all the other upgrades offset that.

Looking forward to customizing a couple of these. I only hope they are easier to take apart than the original.

Everything seems to work as described/as shown etc.
Both the Toy Fair and the Convention Eagle Hawks were out of the box samples from Hasbro. People in Indy actually got to watch John Warden put the Eagle Hawk together. So what you've heard/seen is what you get.

So excited about getting this, just got the BBTS notification. I've never owned one, and have been VERY tempted to overpay for broken and incomplete ARAH versions whenever I see one.

Hope these sell well, Hasbro needs to know when they get something this right.

I had planned to wait until I saw this in stores, but I got excited when I saw that they were available and ordered one anyway. The Tomahawk was one of my favorite vehicles as a kid, so I'm really looking forward to getting it in hand.

You said it: this was such a pleasant surprise when it was revealed earlier in the year, and I hope it justifies the expense and effort that went into releasing it.

I had 3 setting in my pile of loot on BBTS and was getting ready to send my payment in and my girl friend asked me what I wanted for my B-Day, I hesitantly said "you can pay for my pre-order" she rolled her eyes, called me a dork and then got out her credit card. I think I may have to marry this one

Mine showed up last night. I never had the Tomahawk as a kid, but always wanted it. It was great cracking the box open and pulling the Eaglehawk out. And I loved having to do the assembly on it; it really took me back. Not having an original Tomahawk to compare to, I can't say how it rates versus it, but on it's own, I think it's great. Now I'm thinking I may want a couple more and will give my CM Chinooks to Cobra.

Just got mine from BBTS, but my Lift Ticket has two right hands! :(

Otherwise, it's AMAZING.

I finished assembling one of the three I got. Afterwards I set it next to my vintage one and I must say im very impressed with the update. I'll start with the figure. He comes with 1 helmet and 2 headsets and his gun. Figure is great and fits well in the cockpit. The helicopter has several updates to include a retooled crew compartment, and the basic assembly is much more sturdy. Some of the updates include hinged engine covers and rotor blades that can be removed without possibly breaking the end tabs. I like this feature because as most people know the blades on the original sag over time and this version looks to be just a vulnerable so being able to remove them can be a good thing and if you don't care about which way the stickers are facing on the blades (or if you even decide to put them at all) you can flip the blades from time to time to help keep them from sagging and staying that way. All in all im very happy with this vehicle.
