GI Joe Collectors Club showed off a picture of Cesspool on the card on their Facebook page.

From that angle, the figure looks very impressive to me! The head sculpt appears to have turned out really well. and I can see that the parts work even better as an homage to the 1991 figure than I originally thought.

I can't get past the Brent Spiner-ness of the face in his card art!

When are these guys supposed to start shipping? I thought I remember reading something about October, but there haven't been any announcements. I have seen pics of Cesspool on card floating around the interwebs though. so maybe that's a sign we'll be getting these guys soon.

No word on shipping dates yet. I'd imagine we'll see all of them on card before they start shipping. So far, only Cesspool has been shown.

I'm actually okay with them taking their time. Means I won't have to shell out for FSs 3 any time soon.

So I logged in to check the status. It says 2 sets have been shipped to me. Unless when I signed-up it automatically added 2 to the invoice at that time.

are you saying you've got some coming in the mail soon?

edit:

The subscription service period has now ended.

We are planning to ship the first month's figures before Christmas, provided that the shipment from China arrives in time.

Please make sure your shipping address is correct no later than
December 3rd for the first shipment.

wasn't that last year's message??? :-|

I'm not sure how the club decides what to show on their invoice. Either it's just confirming my sign-up by adding the 1st shipment or they actually have them ready. That is what confuses me.

Not that happy with Dragonsky. They must have put the helmet on when the head paint was still wet, as a big patch of paint came right off. The backpack won't go on at all without deforming the peg, and the flamethrower hose is too stiff so it makes it very hard for him to hold the flame projecter properly. Big Bear is much better.

I'm totally ignorant of all of the FSS stuff but after doing a search, is it right to say that this is an offering for club members only and the figures run around 25 bucks a pop? Is it too late to sign up? Bombadier has a Bren gun and I have an unhealthy love of that particular weapon.
