I want Transformers built in 1/18th scale, all the regular transformers, built to allow (and include) G I Joe drivers.

For instance an Optimus Prime packaged with General Hawk as the driver.

They would be large and kinda expensive but would be awesome.

Maybe make two a year.

Large and kinda expensive is an understatement. Do you know how large a 1:18th scale semi truck would be?

That's why most people have two kidneys; one to keep, and one to sell so they can get really expensive toys.

wouldnt have to make the trailer. Could just make a bob tail truck. Would probably fall into the $50 to $60 price range. Would be about the size of the Tomahawk roughly.

But could probably release a bumble bee for around the $30 mark.

I have plans of cutting up a Snow Cat and making an Energon Showcat.

....you want a fully transformable joe-scaled vehicle for $30-$60. I want Anne Hathaway to present me with a trophy that declares me Champion of Sex while I eat a steak and watch brand new episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000 in our moon-base. These are similar dreams.

Especially if you want DETAILED transformations....Look at the larger movie Transformers they run near $40 price range and your saying they could do the 1:18th Transformers for $30 - $60??? and 1:18th Joes are $10 each??? HIGHLY unlikely..

check out Keenan's custom 1:18th scaled Transformers and see how much he spent...and they don't even transform...........viewtopic.php?f=14&t=33024&start=315 starting at that page and going on..................AWESOME stuff.......

A Bruder Toys sized Optimus that transforms.........I'm thinking that would run at least $200, but probably closer to $300.

Yeah, if they were going to do it, and do it in a way that would be affordable at all, it would have to be smaller vehicles, like the Fang or Armadillo. Even then, it'd still be a $40 figure. Maybe push it and do a VAMP or Stinger, since that would result in a vehicle mode about the size of a couple of TF:U's larger figures.

in 2007 they put out a Transformer Motorcycle that was perfect sized. Think I paid $6 or maybe $7 for it.

Yup. Here are some key parts of that sentence:

1) 2007
2) motorcycle

Let's put it this way: The upcoming metroplex is the largest transformer ever made, and is roughly the size that a joe-scaled transformer would need to be. His retail price is $125.

It's not just the size you have to take into account either. It's the engineering to make it a transformable robot as well. If you want bikes and maybe something the size of a Vamp, that might work fine, but when you start talking semi trucks and tanks, it's not gonna happen.
