Snap bubbles would cut into their profit margin. would be a nice touch though. It does come down to the fact that paying more for a exclusive figure does drive the fact to keep it MOC just in case times get tough and you do have to sell it or want a return on our investment.
I may open them this weekend if I get bored.

The only issue I have seen with stuff like these that cost so much, there isn't a lot of dollar value beyond what was paid. Some of the stuff gain a lot of aftermarket interest and gain a decent increase but most of the time it's just 10 or 12 dollars over. To me that isn't worth it. I'll open the main ones I wanted but I'll do so by cutting half way down the bubble so I can make a basic shell. It'll reseal well enough that I could put the figure back on the card and hang it up if I want.

The card art on these is terrible knock off art anyway. Open em up!

Open your friggin toys, people. You're completely missing the entire point.

My closet full of MOC figs with explosion back card-art is pretty damned enjoyable.

Yeah but do you explain that to people? "Hey come check out my closet full of boxed and carded toys"? At least put them out in a room, don't keep them trapped in the closet.

Good point. You got me. I have not friends other than my trapped plastic, of whom I'll never know the touch.

why is Sure Fire's sleeve roll unpainted? It is on mine and I've been reading it's a problem on everyone else's too. WTF.

Yeah...for what we're paying per figure, that kind of QC slip is pretty freaking inexcusable.

I got mine yesterday. Opened them today. And no paint on the rolled sleeve.
I do like Sure Fire though except that he needs a Belt to hold his flashlight and cuffs, and a pistol holster on his leg that functions to hold it.

Iron Klaw looks good, should have a scaboard for his sword.

Hmmm my helmet looks alright inside the card.
I find it ironic that Surefire's wristwatch is so intricately detailed yet they forgot to paint the sleeves!

So some of you have gotten the next pair of figures? I thought it was one pair per month? Unless my months are off.

Jinx/Dice: January
Quarrel/BAT: February
Topside/Big Boa: March

Guess I'd better go check my mail box...

I think you're off by a month - I got my Jinx/Dice in December, Quarrel/BAT in January. Some Topside/Big Boa shipments may have slipped with the Club being busy with con registration, though I'm pretty sure I got those in February.

I have to disagree with Lance Sputnik. The card art is quite good in my opinion. Not quite to the levels of the originals, but a more than capable rendition. Besides, it's cool to see characters like Quarrel in that art format. :)

so I painted the sleeve cuff on my Sure Fire, it took about 6 seconds. Now I just need a new helmet for him and it'll be perfect.

As the only collector who was excited to get an updated version of the CID officer I am happy.
