It was a Sunbow thing from QK's first appearance on the show

That's the part I don't get. Is that a reference to a cartoon episode or a comic issue I'm forgetting?

The vehicles are starting to grow on me. I'll definitely be picking some of these up.

Kre-o VAMP is awesom and that brick Clutch puts the 25th version of him to shame.

Hrm. I didn't realize my link broke. Anyway. I like what I'm seeing. Lots of potential for fun, and a real sense of old school adventure. I just realized I don't have to get any of it. I may pick up a few blind bags, but that's all.

I'll be the wet blanket... I'm just not excited abou these... They're bad Lego knock-offs. Of all the mini figures, the only one I find that holds any appeal to me is Cobra Commander...

How does Kreo stack-up (phrasing!) next to Lego in terms of size and/or compatability? That will dictate whether I get any for my boys or not. Though, as I said before, a Lego Joe video game would potentially have been the best Joe game ever, and the presence of such a game is usually key to getting my oldest interested in the toy itself.

I have 1 Kreon... Skorpinok...from the TF Blind bag series. overall I think the figures are a tad bigger than Lego people. I've not tried interlocking with any actual Lego parts...so I can't say for sure how well they'll work but I suspect they're pretty close.

The quality on the plastic of Kre-O figures, feels like it's better than what we got with BTR, but given the number of stress marks some parts got just from assembling the Kreons...I'm not sure that they're at a LEGO quality yet.

Yeah, I sort of miss the BTR concept where the figures were compatible with the other newsculpts of the time, but for mini-figure fans, these are cool. I rather like the orange Alley-Viper.

I HATE "blind bags", though. You never know what you're going to get. I could get two dozen who-knows-who before finding an Alley-Viper.

These will be all over eBay in "open" condition.

These are going to be TRU exclusive. Details of the sets are in that link from Hasbro.

I like it. There were questions after the poster was revealed how much of this line would be old school. Well the answer is everything so far. The choice of characters is all over the place. I mean that in a good way too. Kamakura and fuzzy head Joe Colton. Great job Hasbro, great job!

No great surprise that this is going to be a TRU exclusive. Have you seen the toy departments at Walmart and Target lately!? Yeesh.

Yeah you would think with the "Issue #1" promo picture that a Mobat has to happen. Otherwise it might bring back some "tanks for the Memories" idea...
