I bought the Shockwave HISS on ebay. Gotta have it and HTS fails me every year on the SDCC exclusives.

No desire whatsoever to go to that convention.

At this point, I know my voice will never be heard, but I refuse to play their games, and I refuse to support these types of releases. I intend to never spend another dime on exclusive figures. No matter how frustrating and desirable the figures. Not that I'd be able to anyway, "LASER BLAST" HTS.

Lines around the block, huh? You must be mistaken, because clearly there is no demand for these items, so selling them at retail would be a waste of time.

How much of the demand is because they're "exclusives" vs. just being cool items, though? It seems a lot of people only clamor for these items because they're rare and expensive, rather than actually being good figures/vehicles.

People are strange.

I'm starting to think that it isn't so much the exclusiveness or the desire but the sheer numbers they would have to create these in to get them to retail. 5000 or whatever the SDCC run is, is pretty safe. Zarana is still readily available on ebay. A run for TRU or Walmart or whatever would be much bigger and would sit. Those BBTS Dreadnoks are still there and I'm guessing at this point will end up getting clearanced out eventually.

Hasbro pissed off EVERYONE today at their booth. They removed the limits and well, you can imagine where things went from there. Why they removed their limits, I have no idea but things sold out like crazy before noon. I am taking a wild guess that ebay is going to be loaded with scalped hasbro exclusives.

I'm now really annoyed at Hasbro. :-x

I'm hearing so many conflicting reports. I heard Jinx is in as good of a supply as Destro was and there is plenty for Monday's Internet sales. But then I hear the sold out info too... hard to really say.

Sold out for show still means that HTS will get a supply though. I'm going to chance Shockwave and the Masters on HTS. Already gave in on Jinx. Not going to bother with the white one though.

Sold out for show means they will be on HTS? If so the HISS shows sold out. Oh I just hate this whole exclusives thing. Some stuff I want and some I might freak out seeing it on HTS and get squirrely in the head just cause it's in stock and end up buying it. I want that Cliffjumper mostly for the package. I like the Bruticus but really shouldn't buy that. Same with the Jem doll. I mostly want the 2 Jinx and HISS.

Bruticus is available singly in stores later this year. The only exclusive part is that you're getting all 5 and the packaging. Far as I know aold out for show means just that, they don't have anything left for SDCC, but they usually hold back some for HTS. Guess we'll find out.

Bruticus is also painted similar to G1 colors too. It's not necessarily the G1 aspect I like, but the colors do make it look neat. I think the tank is silver on the other one, but green here. I don't know if it's worth the extra money though...

I'd forgotten about that. Oh well. I'm actually more tempted by the Amazon version in G2 colors. I figure since they're the in-game designs, I might as well get 'em in the game colors, but if I had to get one of the other versions, the crazy 90s neon is the way to go.
