I completely agree with Tex. For the price this just doesn't look worth it. The heads in particular are off. but the clothes look really baggy. which is a surprise since that is one of the better parts of the rest of their offerings. Timber is awesome.

Agreed on this. I think it's the color of the masked head and hands being different than the clothing, and the clothing not fitting very well. Something definitely seems off on it.

That sweater turtleneck is where the main issue is. Everything else, including the head, would look better with just a change of the shirt. I don't know what they were going by, but that's the same issue I had with the first Snake Eyes they did. Something was just off on that one too. But then most of their G.I. Joe figures haven't been quite right to me. They seem to put all their time and effort into Cobra.

The sweatshirt looks looks off to me. Something I really don't like about it.

If they replaced the puffy jacket with an actual commando sweater, it would look much better.
Sure I could do it on my own and be happy, but I shouldn't have to do it when I buy a $200 figure.

I think Sideshow believes their company name will sell anything they make. They're a bit like Bioware in that regard.

I looked over the pictures some more last night and I can see the issue with the heads. They do look a little small but I think part of that might be the thick turtleneck collar of the sweater. Personally I'd have preferred if they had used the Beachhead sweater with the dickie collar he came with instead. I think it fits the commando look better. I have a sweater that is close to that style in black (on my Nick Fury custom that has been made obsolete by the Hot Toys version) that I'll be swapping out. Do I like that I feel I need to do this when they could have given us a better sweater to begin with? No but I'll do it anyway because that's what I feel would give me the look I want.

As to the price, there are a lot of new parts in this set. Timber, the two heads, the sweater, the webgear (appears to be new anyway) so that costs a bit. Also these aren't getting a high production run compared to other lines like Star Wars. I think they are averaging between 500 and 2,000 depending on the character and version. That adds to the price tag as we all know. Yeah it hurts to dish out $200 for this figure with the few flaws it has but I spend that now on Hot Toys Iron Man figures so I'm a bit more used to it than most.

Ditto on that. I have two Sideshow figures so far and this one looked like a great candidate to be my third.

I picked up the exclusive versions of Flint and Dusty at a super cheep price over the Xmas break and since then it's been all I can do not to go back and try to buy everything else, lol. I'd really like to get Hawk, Zartan and the Viper too.

Got my exclusine version ordered, flexpay & my rewards points came in handy as I have the Nick Fury on order too. If SS doesn't fix the sweater & goggles(my only real issues), I have a commando sweater & goggles from a bash I was gonna do of SE, that I was going to do, until SS announced they were gonna do a Commando SE awhile back.

Flint was okay. Dusty was just about perfect. If you ever see Beachhead or Duke for a reasonable price grab 'em. Those are my two favs.
