Sure, a Navy Seal with a penchant for racing cars, is good with weapons, likes silver sunglasses, great with kids, and wants to get into voice-over work once he gets out of the military.

Let's see, how about a suitable codename.

Can't use Triple X, people will think he's a former Bond girl... :rotfl:

How about Curly?
He could come with a knyock, knyock, knyock sound feature tab on his oversized gun, as well as a removable tie acc.

Hey it could work. :whistling:

I think it's even funnier coming from a Transformers person since they really don't handle change any better than anyone else. Some of them still say truck not monkey and Beast Wars was forever ago.

Then again Superman, Batman, Spiderman, heck most of the stuff people love don't have a lot of brand new ideas but still get by just fine so maybe there is something to be said for if you got it right the first time why go radically changing things now.

I was recently informed that that(kettle and pot) was a covertly racist statement.

Why are they calling each other black. . .

Sorry, had to toss something intelligent in there, I say we start a petition to make joedom have the toy of equivalent of speaking latin, no new ideas, just better engineering of the characters from the 80's.

I think tht if Joe is going to compete with the rest of the toy collecting world, you know transfans and starwars peeps
then we need our own random single argument statements that wrap up our particular believes in one fragmented sentence.

the starwars crowd has "Han shot first" of course as previously mentioned Transformer fans have "Truck not Monkey"

What should joes be?

"man of action not break dance champion"
or
What Wayans brother?
or
Rhyming Roadblock = better then heavy duty
or
Who cares it all sucks for someone. I likes what I like. Thunder PWNS.

How about "ME RIGHT YOU WRONG!" ? It's kinda what they all boil down to, anyway.

Meh, not really. It's a turn of phrase about two items of cast iron (and therefore, black in color), with one being oblivious to its own color and so calling the other on it. It's an old, old phrase meaning basically the same as the whole "pointing out the mote in your neighbor's eye while ignoring the plank in your own."

As far as TF fans, yeah, they can be pretty crazy also. But that doesn't make the strip any less true. And I don't think he was necessarily railing against recycled material, just the act of recycling out of fear of upsetting the fanbase. (Man, I sound like one of the Willis fanboys, and I can't really stand the guy.)

Pot calling the kettle black, and "mighty white of you" are both old sayings that people today misinterpret as racism because everyone is so sensitive to the terms "white" and "black". Narc has nothing intelligent to add. Ever. But damn, aren't I witty!?

Oh no, I've seen the way Transformers fans act on the internet with insulting each other so it's wonderful that GI Joe is one of those fandoms where people don't hate you because of the things you like.

Sad but they have insults for if you like the original series better than the movie stuff or if you like the movie stuff better than the original stuff. Insults for if you like Animated, insults for if you don't like Animated. Honestly you can't win with those people because no matter what you like or you don't like someone is going to hate you for either liking or not liking the same exact same things they do.

I think we should just stick with our happy go lucky world of GI Joe and Cobra where you can like or dislike anything you want without people getting upset about it.

Its true. GI Joe fans are so sensible and calm all the time. We swim in chocolate streams and bounce on clouds of golden sunshine. :-P

Every crowd has its whack jobs and overly zealous fruit cakes. The fact that our community is smaller, and thereby better able to weed them out doesn't make it perfect by any means. We can't talk about things like RAH vs 25th or cartoon vs comic because people will never meet in the middle on those issues. ME RIGHT, YOU WRONG indeed.

Transformers fans are whackjobs obviously. Oh and Dave Willis too, becsue he's a Transfan. Or Transcollectual if you like.

And really, that's way too long. Let's just shorten it down more here. David Willis is a Tranny. There. 8-O
