Wasn't that Sabretooth figure also suppose to come in a deluxe pack with a Blob figure who could throw him?

That is still coming. The difference is in the head sculpt. One has short hair and the other has longer hair. http://forums.marvelousnews.com/index.p ... ic=2054762 Shows the different WO and MU figures we know to be coming, and pics if available.

Just for the record, Sabretooth's hair is a separate piece from the head. With that being said, that Blob pack Sabretooth looks to be non-metallic. One could do a hair swap if not content with the metallic version.

Mundo,

Thanks for that update. It helps for those that like one look or the other better.

That I MUST have! The sabretooth looks incredible. I like the Logan and bike as well.

The bike is a modified Mutt bike from KOTCS. It's the same, minus the ____ seat and saddlebags.

Finally found this set yesterday.

Really I didn't think the price was too bad. I mean the figures are $8 each for single packs, so there is $16 of the $20.
I really didn't care much for the Logan figure, and honestly who rolls up the sleeves on a jacket?
I did some parts swapping though and got a pretty good Logan using the head from this set, and after a little added paint, the bike will look better.
Of course the main draw was Sabretooth. Even after Mundo's pictures and description, his size still surprised me. He's BIG!

Overall it's a pretty cool set, for a decent price.

Here are a few more pictures!

Ugh, I hate that Logan head. That fig seems like a turd overall. Especially next to that [LASER BLAST] Sabertooth! I love the fact that he is as big as Colossus.

I must be the only person who actually doesn't like that design for ST. The fur looks like he is going to a movie premire or something. Even though at the time it premired (with Jim Lee doing X-men art) it was a vast improvement over the previous design of ST, it still never resonated with me.

So far I am digging the single packed version, reminds me of his look in Wolverine #10 (before the heroes and villains days) rather than his spandex and fur collor years.

I agree with you that fur collar tooth is silly looking, but it's a neat fig that realy appeals to folks who like their villians and heroes all to wear spandex.

I've always preferred the original Sabretooth design (as done by Byrne in Iron Fist all those years ago) over the Lee one. The Lee one is probably the best known though, so I can understand why they went with it. His more recent street clothes look is fine, but the Wolverine Origins figure is probably the worst in the line IMO. The weird proportions, the huge feet, just don't work for me. Which I'm okay with, I've got my ML Face-Off 2 pack Sabretooth and that's all I need.

I like the sculpt of the Back Road Brawl 'tooth, but he's a touch bigger than I'd like, and his torso to leg ratio is all off.

I finally got one today and it's great, The Logan fig is a let down though, he can be modified with another Wolvie fig.

I got this set last week.

Sabertooth is AMAZING. One of the best Wolverine figures yet if not THE best. And no amount of pictures can do justice to his size. He's so awesome.

Wolverine is OK, but not great. The head is off and the body is sub par. Still he looks pretty good if yu paint his shoulders black.

The motorcycle is nice. I never did find the deluxe Mutt so it's nice to have finally (Though I still wish I had the non-X version) but nothing special.

Well worth the $20 it cost just for Sabertooth. The rest makes a nice gift for that kid in your life whose a Wolverine fan.

When I got the Wolverine figure in my hand and looked him over, I thought his face looked kind of like King Kong Bundy with hair and sideburns, hehe.

Could somebody who has this set, maybe be kind enough to post a picture of Sabertooth standing next to Serpentor or Nemesis Enforcer, please?
