These packs are great!

I was afraid that the 25th line would go out with a whimper as almost everything coming out these days is repaints, same old characters, blah blah. Then Hasbro comes up with these! 13 of 14 figures are new characters. Talk about going out with a bang!

I'll need at least two of the Joe pack. One to display each character. And one to make Night Force Hit & Run, Tiger force Recondo and Outback and Brazil Mission Wetsuit. My 2nd Zap will donate his webgear to fix Short Fuse. Spare Chuckles and Ripcord will be fodder.

I'm planning on at least 4 or 5 Cobra packs. I'll have some extra Mindbenders, BD BATs and Night Creepers, but I'll want extras of Alley Viper and Range Viper. So I'm sure someone will want to trade with me

For me it's all win. It's figures I'd get in a wave without all the trouble of having to track down each figure. I mean I've got a Zap custom that I like much better with darker skin and a stash, but heck the figure helps me replace the body on one of my other original 13 figures with the dreaded Duke arms.

Yes some of the figures look a little iffy at the moment but then some of them are just needing their gear and I bet they kick much butt then.

Oh and that Cobra pack is just pure all around win for me. I've tried to get out of squad building but that much cool in just one pack I'll have to get more than one of the Cobra packs. Some changes from the here and there from the originals but that pack still gives me nothing but smiles.

Sort of glad the movie figures aren't my thing because just from these two packs that's a lot of Joes and a lot Cobras to look forward to. Throw in the couple of movie figures that are appealing to me and I'm going to be broke broke broke.

I really hope these aren't distributed in a 1:1 ratio because the cobra packs are obviously going to sell much faster. Hopefully it's at least a 3:1 ratio.

The only thing that would have made that Joe pack better for me would be replacing Hit & Run (who I don't remember at all from my childhood) with Cover Girl. Two female 25th style Joes just isn't enough.

So does this mean that the Flak/Claw pack isn't coming out? (I know the original case assortment was canceled, but then this set and the Stinger showed up on Target's website.) I will probably pass on it in favor of these mutli-packs for the figures, and neither the Flak nor the Claw was a must have for me. What about single carded ZAP? He'd be a pass for me now too. What about the comic pack with Night Creepers?

If we have truly reached the end of the comic packs and single card waves I think that would be bad for retailers. As it is I stopped checking my local Wal Mart because they jacked up the comic pack price to $13, and they haven't stocked a new wave since the July of last year (only re-releases since). I'm still checking Target because they've stocked Waves 12 & 13 regularly since Christmas, but if those are the end, I won't be checking them either. I suspect orders on the movie toys might drop if they see the collector line falter over the next few months.

I know I'll end up getting the Cobra pack. That thing was made to buy and then trade the figs you don't want for the ones you do. As for the Joes, I like the Airborne fig so Hit and Run is cool. The head sculpt on Chuckles is a trip to awesome town. Not a fan of the arms or chest on Outback. I would like to see the rest of the accessories here. The accessories should be great for these guys.

With luck it'll be on HasbroToyShop without having just a limit of 1. That's would be the best way, although sticker shock will happen since it'll be an easy visual for what's ordered.

Holy cow! I love every one of these figures. It's funny, I have WIPs of every one of the Joes, except Zap. However, I like the Hasbro offerings enough that my WIPs may go back to being fodder. I want multiples of the Cobra pack, and at least two of the Joe one, for army building and custom purposes.

I've been holding off customizing until I saw what made it to retail. I'm glad I waited.

I was betting Ripcord wasn't going to get the treatment because he's been retconned, but they did do him after all, meaning, I think that all of 84 is done...

The only thing I'm not too thrilled with is Chuckle's hands. Looks like he's got Dataframe/Spirit hands.
Other than that they look promising, depending on gear, and release date of course.
Oh, just took another look at Recondo, he's got Duke arms damnit!

Chuckles! Finally! But uh ... his shirt is plain. And gloves? Really? I am going to need two of him to fix up one.

Zap has no moustache? I'm happy we are getting him so the O13 are done.

Recondo looks nice. And Hit and Run is cool.

I am really happy with the Joes. The Cobras are meh. Not too excited about those.
