I just got my shipping notice from HTS on this pack. I ordered it on 10/30 and it said it was going to be 20-22 days for shipping. It has only been about a week! HTS actually did something right.

I got my set today and I have to say that its much better looking in person. I didn't open it as I was heading out to work but on first glance, aside from Duke, all the figures are well done. CC has a nice new big melon and non fist left hand. Alpine seems perfect. And the trooper is fine. The helmet isn't too big.

As a bonus two $5 coupons for hts were in the shipping box. Now they need to restock the temple of doom figs.

I can't wait to get my hands on this CC, and will likely ditch my earlier ones once I have this one in hand.

The bad news: Hasbro sent me a chrome CC with a scraped mask. Boo! But thanks for the MASS Device.

Edit: The harness doesn't seem to come off the Commander!!! // Edit again: The latch is under the back bottom of the parachute pack!

I am back from work (early day for me ) so I opened up the pack. Some additional thoughts:

- no stickers included for CLAW, which is kind of cheesy. Jetpack also has no flag sticker on it.
- the camera is a separate piece from the stand and can be held on a figure's shoulder in theory. And the eyepiece is movable.
- the Trooper head is a new sculpt with actual hair. I suspect it will be the de facto Cobra head now, so learn to love the new helmet.
- Alpine is great, his face sculpt is very close to his toon look. He has a clip on his right leg which can hold the axe or hook, but neither looks good there. The backpack is the same as his 85 release and the axe can also attach to it. I think with a slight paint app adjustment (to a more forest green) and some added accessories (like his pistol or whatever fits in that clip), he will see a single card release down the road.
- Duke has the fixed forearms but he is so yellow (toon accurate however) that part swapping will require painting. Despite the arm upgrade, he's got the old diaper crotch. The web gear and jet pack are separate parts.

Mine is coming tomorrow!

Now, if the set would only be re-stocked so I could get one (as well as Tripwire)

They both were briefly available again, just never at the same time

That Alpine makes Bazooka look awesome! Its magic!

I don't know if it has been mentioned yet but in regards to Alpine, he comes issued with the standard "cartoon" rifle and the neat thing is, the hook can attach to the top of the rifle so simulate Alpine's original hook-gun.
