These are simply amazing. Outback and Strato Viper are big surprises and look better than I could have imagined. The FLAK is awesome, as is the Arctic HISS. Don't really care for the Stinger, though.

Awesome!!! I love them all! I really didn't want an Arctic HISS but I'm more leaning towards getting one now!
If they only had the driver's mask red he would have almost looked like an Ice Viper. Then again he does resemble the Flaming MOTH one.
Plus now that they have the doors to the VAMP/Stinger, a Mk II is a real possibility!
I am now seriously considering getting one of those black F-18's (at TRU) for Cobra's new Night Raven.

Stratoviper
Head, lower legs - new sculpt
Torso - Wild Bill/Ace
Upper arms - look to be Snow Job mold but I'm not certain from that angle
Lower arms - look to be Eels but again hard to say from that angle
Webgear - new sculpt to achieve Stratoviper look

All in all for a mostly repaint figure it looks really good. If I didn't look closer at the figure itself a second time I'd have never known it was webgear instead of sculpting on the torso.

Say what you will about the plethora of repaints, when Hasbro gets it right reusing parts they really get it right. Just like they did here.

I'm not so sure....lower legs almost look like Iron Grenadier.

Still a great looking figure and an example of just how much mileage you can get from mostly existing tooling.

Ya know I think you may be right. I haven't played with my IGs enough so I didn't have those fresh in my mind.

Trying to cut back, so I won't get the Flak set. However, that's a really impressive set.

Last nail in the coffin for not getting Bazooka Cobra. The helmet I want, the Stinger looks good - win

Naw, the Strato-Vipers lower legs are new. The ribbed parts on the IG legs are in different spots. Wish the pic of Outback showed his torso better, I'm really curious to see which one they used. He looks to have all new legs too, which is nice. Dig the Stinger, love the Arctic HISS. I honestly hope we get a missile HISS in black as well, though this may be the excuse I need to buy an extra 25th HISS, so I can have a traditionally armed Arctic HISS and a Missile HISS in black. The driver is a nice kitbash, though I'm curious how well he'll fit in the cockpit. Anyway, it's a great wave.

That Stinger doesn't use the new VAMP body. You can see there is no slot for the hood to open like the new VAMP, and the clip that holds the AK is in a different spot. I don't know if that is cool or not. I like the idea of the opening hood. I like the AK mount though. Too bad they didn't update the missile rack, as it almost looks dated on that Stinger. I almost wonder if this is nothing more than a mock up and not a production piece yet?

I really like that added rack on the HISS. Very cool looking. The FLAK doesn't look like anything new, but Outback is in the way. I never cared for the FLAK in the first place, so I don't know if I'll pick this one up. Question though, is the FLAK and CLAW packaged together? I only ask, because all the small vehicles have been in 2-packs.

I believe they are packaged together.

For sure I want 2 Arctic HISS tanks and 2 CLAWs. I'll be fine with a single Stinger but the Stinger Driver from the 5 pack will drive it. The commander will ride shotgun. These look really good though even with them being repaints mostly,

These are excellent!! I wasn't expecting the FLAK, so it's a total surprise. I'll be picking up at least one of each. But no more, with the way stuff is being pumped out now and prices apparently on the rise.

I'll probably switch out the HISS turrets too. That driver is nice. He's a little bulky, but they used more tapered feet on him than they did the Snow Serpent, so hopefully he'll fit just fine. That driver will probably end up a gunner anyway, with one of my blue drivers sitting in the cockpit. I'm loving the diversity they're giving their army builders!

Gotta love Hasbro- available in the Spring of 09 . . . the WINTER figures and vehicles.

They do look good as hell though. :-D

I wasn't expecting a Flak either, and that kind of makes me hope that they'll redo the whirlwind, oh, and the ASP, so we'll have something for our VAMPS and Stingers to tow.
